Don't Starve & Shipwreked iOS Virtual Stick retarded behaviour

Both games, same scenario: if there is something under the virtual stick, when I try to move it begins interractions with objects under the virtual stick, whic is super annoying, when you are in the middle of the burning forrest or try to run away from the hounds and insted of that - you get dialogue windows suggesting to light the tree, examine smth or enter the chest. Too many death from that. Please make virtual stick on top of "everything".
