Better Shiny pokemon

Just a bunch of sprites I recoloured to get a more desirable looking shiny pokemon than the usual barf green mostly prevalent in the first three generations.

I may update this in the future but inspiration comes slowly, so hopefully it'll come to me before the post gets locked from inactivity.

Ampharos' shiny is actually pink normally, I changed its gems to be pink as well, they're normally a meh light blue shade, I also made its pink a bit more vibrant, the original pink was dull greyish.

The Gengar line I tried my best to use Mega Gengar's shiny palette, difficult since it never had an official 2d sprite, i felt it worked better than just the barely noticable hue shift they normally have, as for the green on gastly/haunter that was just a random stab at a colour. I do try to avoid greens with these at least ugly pukey/murky greens like a lot of gen 1 and 2 shinys have.

Not a shiny, just an idea I had if anyone's interested. I'm considering looking at shedinja next for tweaking its shiny sprite.

Alot of people I've shown this to have said the pitiful attack stat makes him more worthless than before, which I agree. I still think the higher defence works to help make his low hp more bearable than superfluous, otherwise all it does is give him time to survive dot effects. Revised Base stats I think would be

5HP

90 Atk

60 Def

40 SpAtk

60 SpDef

40 Spd

Remember that the game actually has a special line of code for Shedinja, which will always give it 1 max HP. Yes, 1 hit point. Meaning it's defense is actually 100% unneeded. Therefore the fact that it has low attack and speed, coupled with 2 completely worthless stats being the higher stats, it's just not worth it lol.

The reason why Shedinja is such a nightmare to fight is because of the fact that it has only five elemental weaknesses and attacking it using only its elemental weaknesses is the only way to hurt it. It is immune to a wide variety of types and only 5 types will actually do any damage to it. Savvy trainers can use a Focus Sash, making it so that because Shedinja's Max HP is at 1 (And therefore at 100%), it will always trigger the Sash's effect. Even if you think to use a weather effect to hurt it (Sandstorm, Hail, ETC.), you have to be prepared enough to have a Pokemon on hand that can actually use one at the time (Even then, Shedinja can use Safety Goggles to negate weather effects). Trainers attempting to steamroll other teams with Shedinja can make it so that, with the right setup, get rid of three of its weaknesses, ensuring that only two types will be able to hurt it.

Fortunately, I think future Generations of Pokemon games made it so that the Sash's effect can only activate once per battle. I need to find the source of where I learned this from.

EDIT: Not exactly the video I was looking for, but this shows why Shedinja can be a real pain to fight.

I haven't had any real new ideas for a bit, been focused on stuff other than pokemon, I do have this concept for shiny misdreavus/mismagius to make them red with green highlights instead of the orange/yellow

In the end I think the yellow looks better.
