Game Update

"This isn't actually an update update"

Additions + Changes:

Hey everyone. Look, here's the deal.

I have insanely bad memory.

You folks gotta remind me of this if you want more frequent updates, as I forget about thingsΒ a lot.

I'm writing a response right now, but the same rules from singleplayer remain here - If you don't remind me, chances are I'll forget about it for a while.

Roleplay Update

"Keep it Glassy"

Additions + Changes:

  • Added a desert to the landscape of Weirdosity, can be found by going down the shore of the beach after a while
  • Added tameable llamas and camels
  • Added cactus
  • Camels can be tamed by giving them water and fruits of some kind
  • Llamas can be tamed by petting them
  • Flufficorn saddles are now a little easier to come by in caverns
  • The Moog Monster now has more protection
  • Added sandworms
  • Added sandstorms
  • The desert will become entirely made of glass on particularly hot days
  • Added glassstorms
  • Added glactus
  • Added Gllamass and FragileΒ Camels
  • Added glassworms
  • You can now smash the portal for "Portal pieces" which can be used for a variety of things
  • The portal can now be repaired from being smashed (not being repaired to be functional, that still requires something different) by various sciencey characters, but can't be smashed right away again to prevent efficient farming
  • Made S.A.L.L.Y. more reliable for going to space in
  • Added genies
  • Added sand stragglers
  • Added oasises
  • Added sand starvers

Removals:

  • Removed the bass blaster as it was unobtainable anyway
  • Removed Herobrine
  • Removed undead ponies, as they were too hard

Bug Fixes:

  • Fixed a bug where when genies spawned the game would crash

Developer Log:

Got inspiration for this listening to some music. There's another update coming soonish, will have some more focus on space.

Roleplay Update

"The Space Race"

Additions/Changes:

  • Added some more planets
  • The planetary destroyer can now be fought
  • Added another underground boss
  • Increased amber biome spawn chances above ground
  • Added a space ancient
  • Added the spacesword (again)
  • Cactus/Glactus that have been replanted in farms/ground no longer change with temperature, for balance/decor reasons
  • Added a piece of lore to the mayor's mansion and the mayor....Β "Hm."
  • ???icorns now stay clear from players at dusk
  • Tinfoil hats add additional armor the more truth you uncover/triangle-shaped-chipsΒ you eat
  • Added tighter security to Russia
  • Russia is now in a state of decay....Β "Are you sure about this?"
  • The leader of Russia is now further situated from the center.... Yes, I'm sure. Quiet, mister.
  • Added "failure epilogues"
  • Major Game Overs bypass all save points and dump you right back at the very beginning, deleting your progress

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed a bug where survival mode was too easy for people in groups
  • Fixed a bug where normally auto-aggro'd things in survival mode were automatically passive
  • Fixed a bug where too much logic and lore-dependence was placed on Survival Mode when it's meant to be a challenge, not an introduction
  • Fixed a bug where the spawn-stutter still existed with the scientific research facility and plot convenience inc.
  • Fixed a bug where the rooms of the russian science facility where incorrectly layering

Removals

  • Removed the ability to manually save the game

Needed to put out an update to assure you all that while I am nice, I'm not your greatest friendΒ when it comes to Weirdosity.

  • Added Removals to Additions/Changes

  • Buffed the Weirdobot to make him truly be a threat even in late game.

  • Changed the way the Weirdobot is summoned - Now only comes out if the player is doing too well in robot waves or you consecutively break 20 blenders, as opposed to one blender

  • The Weirdobot now gets stronger the later in the day it is, and more so depending on the moon cycle(capped at full moon)

  • Added more alternate Everorange gags

  • Added more alternate exploded Everorange gags

  • Nerfed Dan

  • Buffed Dan

  • Made Joe be a little preoccupied.

  • During a winter night, the Santa sleigh can be seen flying around giving gifts

  • Buffed β€œSanta”

  • Buffed β€œSt. Nick”

  • Removed the spawning requirements for Krampus so he can lurk around the world during the winter event

  • Gave the animatronics some new Christmas songs to sing for their lovely guests

  • Gave the mayor a new age changing feature for themself

  • The wasteland grows restless….

  • Music fills the town at a specific time every night

  • Added a lot more late game characters that I can't tell you who they are yet

  • Made slenderman a little bit easier to spawn in case you want to chat with him

  • Severely changed Boss 3 to make them more unique and interesting

  • Buffed the first and second boss to better deal with multiple people

  • Buffed the fourth boss to become about 3x harder than what the first boss originally was (Hi Mena.)

  • Added a new β€œTower Defense” event on full moons which floods the town with Lunarpaneled bots

  • Broken buildings repair after 3 days

  • Added a new pet: The β€œBattle Cat”

  • The anime moon now affects the sun too, meaning it is both a night and a day

  • All other moons have received minor balance changes in multiplayer

  • Buffed zombies

  • Gave zombies more maggots

  • Accidentally poured a bucket of maggots on the floor, keep Mena out of the bathroom for the next couple weeks

  • Had to deal with a troublesome soldier for a while who after finding out Weirdosity was infested with maggots became obsessed with trying to find them, screaming he word β€œmaggots” the whole time

  • Kicked a soldier out

  • Pointed and laughed as he got backstabbed

  • Added some more underground bosses

  • Earthquakes do some interesting things underground

  • Added molemen

  • Pets can be trained to attack things

  • The beach isn't as far away so people can get to it easier

  • Cactus can grow in the town during hot seasons

  • Chad sells Weirdosity merchandise once the broken portal is repaired for interdimensional travelers

  • Added a new class with special weapons and armors, the "Umbreller"
  • Added a new class with special weapons and armors, the "Painter"
  • Added a new class with special weapons and armors, the "Wastelander"

  • Fixed a bug that would cause a massive crash if the player brought in Everorange seeds/saplings and planted them prior to breaking Weirdo and Joe out

This was all actually in the game files already. Just had to add 1 string to make it all start working.
