It is bad enough that developers release temporary content instead of making it permanent. There is no reason or fairness in locking people off arbitrarily from select content just because they did not jump through a hoop at a select frame of time. But at least the developers brought it back so more people could get it. You are whining about a good thing happening because now it makes you feel less V.I.P. I mean, first, being in the community longer than someone else doesn't mean that you'll have the skin, because you could have been away during the puzzle, and still be here for a long time. Also, why rewarding people being here "longer" than others ? Why ? I mean, rewarding people invested in the community, people making forum alive, sure. But it wasn't this. It was mostly rewarding people reading forum at the right time. I was in this case, so i'm not angry or jealous, i got a free skin because others people invested time and shared information for this, and it's amazing and i thank them (as much as i thank people sharing information about the new code). But i don't know how to say that. I don't like unique reward being gathered behind events you can't reproduce. If you are too late for the puzzle, even if you are someone that do great things for the community, you should not have a chance to obtain a nice skin ? Because someone doing mods, or answering question of others peoples, or doing fanart, or listing all new skin and how to obtain it, or listing all the news things of the updates, or whatever, is less deserving than someone that was just here at the right moment ? Ok, i understand that you could not let the puzzle here forever or everyone will end with the skin. But having the opportunity, once in the time, to obtain it, is something great, not something bad. And i would like seeing some people doing great thing for the community having at least an opportunity to be rewarded by skin. As long as you don't need special skill to obtain one, but it's just an alternate way if you didn't obtained it in the past. Anyway, there is no value being here longer or being here at the right time, so people shouldn't be "salty" because others people obtain too a nice skin. It was added as a joke/test and it's not even an actual skin.
