A DragonMage's Power: Kind of a redraw of an older piece (that was thrown in my DA storage years ago ^^; ) but I messed up a bit (like on her leg) and ended up loosing the motivation to colour it. His bio/personality said he was rather clueless and easily distracted so I drew him as such. This might end up with two parts but better than nothing for another month of so, right? So let's bask in the gory of laziness, unsatisfactory drafts, loss of motivation and more! I should note that not all of these will remain unfinished, just ones that are still technically unfinished so without further ado... Rat Bros - Eating: I always saw Rodney as the bulky, eats-a-lot brother while Monty just eats enough to be happy. I think I deemed this one unnecessary and just left it in a forgotten page in my drawing pad. Farmer Ori: Funny story, some random guy on DA requested me to do this since I first drew farmer Ori late 2016. No matter how hard I tried though, I just couldn't find the will to finish it and Farmer Ori slugging through the mud remains unfinished to this day. Also why I don't do commissions/requests. The rest of that Sans comic: Incase you were curious where the rest of the comic went I think I was unsatisfied with the draft result and eventually lost motivation. Still Sans never fails to disappoint with overused puns Ria Facesets: Speaking of Undertale, I actually sketched up some facesets for my persona OC. I based these off Alphys (with a little bit of Toriel, expression wise) but sadly never finished them. There was even an erased on if you look close enough. A Damsel in the Dark: Unfinished but probably should since it has a background (and I really need to practice those as I've said before). This is when Fera and Otto first met. He noticed her sneaking around at night and tried to act all cool around her. Maybe we was trying to spook/tease her. The "first half" of the Fallen Down prologue: Yes believe it or not the prologue for that comic was actually gonna be longer but I'll be honest, even the released prologue part was garbage (least it is for me). However said part was just drawn and coloured badly. This one ^ had that and bad pacing to boot. Although it's not all that bad. It was inspired by the X-Box trailer for Ori and the Blind Forest. It had a little water podium-thing instead of the Ginso Tree. Since it was unused in-game, I decided to use it here. Though again, I was unsatisfied with the result, despite how hard I tried to finish it, and just gave up in the end. Seaside Sunset: Inspired by Life is Strange (hence the lighthouse) and the song: Spanish Sahara. The somber tone make me think of me and Sunrider on a quiet beach during sunset. I know I should finish this as well for background practice but... ehhh. Fera and Otto: Probably in the same night, only the roles have changed and it's not Fera teasing Otto from the roof. Looks like a fun one to finished tbh. Idk why I didn't. Freebirdia Times: ^ That's a placeholder name btw. Based off a glitch that happens with the Freebird forums where people (including myself) kept logging in as other people. It went back to normal if we clicked on other threads and such but it was still pretty crazy. The thing I found though (cos I'm not a beta-tester at all) was a secret subforum for said beta-testers. Kinda made me wanna join the "behind the scenes" team but I know that stuff can be pretty stressful so I refrained. I might join them one day though as an animator or somethin'... Too big: A silly idea I got while working on Fallen Down: What if Ori got one of Toriel's robes? Looks like she's gonna have to make some adjustments Ask Blog Chibi: You know how some people have those red 1's or Letter symbols in their "Ask Blog now open" art? Well that's kinda what I tried here. I might finished this in the future once I have a faster art method. Draglom (that's his name now): Some drawings of my bearded dragon pet. One play fighting with Raven's pet Vargling and the other of him a little more grown up. As you can see, I used my designs mixed with Klei's. Unlike most of the others, I plan to finish this one after the next part of Fallen Down is done. Drew this after Bendy Chapter 3. Boris is just a sweet heart ^_^ Also who wants to leave a safehouse in Bendy anyway? XD I was also gonna draw me on a giant Boris blush (like the one in-game) but it was meh by the time I got the reference in my book. Bendy/Coraline Crossover: For some reason no one's tried this yet. I mean c'mon: Bendy as Coraline, Boris as Other Wybie and Alice as The Other Mother. It's perfect!... Kind of. I found these became more cringy as time went on though. Oh well... Glider Dragon/Wyvern: So I went to the arcade a couple months ago and got this cool dragon glider/slingshot thing and decided to make a dragon out of it like I always do Forge Ori w/ Sprite: Sorry to disappoint you but Uhaven't made the official sprite for this skin yet (or any for that matter). I was just curious to see what the sprite would look like so I doodled a quick one. Can't Spell Boris without "Ori" An adorable title for an adorable crossover. One I plan to finish. (I don't have a title for this one) @minespatch and @EgotisticalRaven asked me if I've made Stardew Valley fanart yet. The answer is yes, I have. Although nothing special like a character or thing but Ria and Farmer Ori is close enough ^_^ I plan to finish this. Warm Winter: Originally this started as Winter Christmas vs Summer Christmas with Fluffy and Red but felt "meh" about the summer half so just kept this one. This one's so cute. You bet I'll be finishing this ^_^ There were some I didn't post. DragonMage156 Posted February 4, 2018 Author Share Posted February 4, 2018 Wow I need to post more here, I'm drawing too much ONI and DS ^^; (curse 2017 me drawing all those XD ) Meet Timmy, my first gryphon OC. He was originally gonna be a dupe but Cocoa was worried she's get it confused with her sphinx OC, Opedius, so I made him into a stand-alone OC. I took some ideas and inspiration from various gryphons on Google but I think this is the concept I'm going with. Timmy is a young, energetic little gryphon who wants to become a riddle master/guardian. Sadly those are reserved for sphinxes and other such creatures. He can still dream though. At the moment his riddles are almost bluntly obvious (like "what's round and can crack easily?!") and he's too young to kill anyone who got it wrong (not that anyone had the heart to tell him that to begin with). --- Idk why I never made a gryphon OC before. They're practically dragons with feathers, fur and a beak! But this should help me practice my beak and wing drawing skills. Can't say what'll stay and what will chance with this OC but it's a start. Fun little story: Sometime last year (after this obviously) I did heaps if Ori sketches from my screenshot library and it changed how I drew him.
