Lemonymous Posted November 12, 2015 Share Posted November 12, 2015 Bug Submission: Category: General Platform: PC Issue Title: DLC No starting equipment Issue Description: Started my first run with Contingency Plan DLC with young Olivia and young Derek. Olivia started with Neural Disrupter, but nothing else. Derek started with Neural D.A.R.T., but nothing else. They had no augments, and none of the other special equipment. Steps to Reproduce: I have not attempted to reproduce this, as I just want you to have the save file before I wipe this run. My game is on save slot 1. willsilver55 Posted November 15, 2015 Share Posted November 15, 2015 I'm having this problem too - I found that Derek and Olivia only start with their weapons, while Draco and Rush have everything they should except augments. Aurucite Posted November 16, 2015 Share Posted November 16, 2015 I experienced the same thing, Olivia and Derek spawn without their equipment OR augments. just a single bland neural disruptor. However, I would like to point out, in my last Contingency Run, Olivia sapwned in a Detention Center, and had her Augment. Maybe it's something to do with character generation that's causing it, since that's when it clears everything from them. Is there supposed to be a code to give Derek his teleporter if found in a detention cell? Or clean out his augment socket if found there?That would make sense, if it's triggering on startup. I'm still not sure how this is happening to you. Does it happen every time you start a game with them? Was it just once? Is it intermittent?Usually when you rescue an agent from a detention center, they just have their augment on them. Derek also has his beacon though. Don't ask where he hid it. It's a boring story. Don't ask where he hid it. It's a boring story. I just rescued Derek and noticed this, and wondered if other agents might also have their things now (like Shalem's gun). Guess I'll have to find out. DemoJan777 Posted November 17, 2015 Share Posted November 17, 2015 I have been playing the new DLC since it came out, but today was the first time I tried to start a new game w/ Derek & his augment & teleport pod were both not there, because of recent hotfix thought might be some discrepancy in update so I verified the game cache files through Steam but when I went back to my save game, Derek's stuff was still missing.So I retired my agency & started a new game with Internationale & Banks afterwards- no problems since. Just wanted to let you know I've also experienced this problem. When I get a chance will start a new game with Olivia & Derek & if it's still happening put in bug report.Hopefully it's just a one-off thing the first time you select those characters.
