I think I probably found what is causing black screen with only background music when trying to start first mission of the game.Looks like it's lack of RAM. (At least in my case)I'm using Win7 32bit with 4Gb RAM and it seems there is a memory limit for a task in 32bit Windows (smth like 2Gb?) and game probably needs a bit more memory. I found this way to increase this limit: I ran Command Prompt as Administrator, entered "bcdedit /set IncreaseUserVa 3072" then restarted my PC. It worked like a charm, first mission started without any problems, I haven't had time to play yet, but it started and everything was fine!Hope it helps! We are wondering if it's possible you have some strange conflict with another piece of software. For example, there was an issue with Visual Studio that caused the game to take a long time to load. Like up to 5 minutes. Another possibility is some kind of protection software misinterpreting Invisible Inc and blocking it? We haven't seen that yet, but thought it might be good to ask about it. Developer Jason Posted December 17, 2015 Developer Share Posted December 17, 2015 For a reason unknown to us, the game can't find that file it seems. Maybe it's a permissions thing? Or antivirus is disallowing it? Are you running as an administrator?Check Disk might tell you if there is a problem with the file itself. nicobile Posted December 17, 2015 Author Share Posted December 17, 2015 I tried a couple of times, last one yesterday night, to start the game with the firewall and the anivirus off, but i had the same issue. I did the verify integrity and it all seems fine by steam. I only have one user in this PC, but i did try running the game as admin, still the same problem. Any other idea? Developer Jason Posted December 17, 2015 Developer Share Posted December 17, 2015 One of the programmers suggested you could try this.. copy the invisibleinc\ folder in the SteamApps\common\ folder and paste it somewhere else. Im trying to run it within the folder, not on steam. Am i doing something wrong or its normal its says this?
