DST map

Hey, I was just wondering if the map in dont starve together was going to be shared or separate for the different players. Maybe the shared map could be decided in the options menu. It would make a big difference in exploring and surviving in general. Leave comments and ideas below.

That'd still wouldn't change. It'd just show multiple player markers and there'd be ghost markers for those who are ghosts. Nothing new.

hes talking about the map as a whole will all the players view be different or will they share there discoveries

This was also talked about on the stream. Discovered areas will be shown for players, but until you go back there after it has changed by other players, it is in its last "discovered state" on the map, a "fog of war" if you will. No multiplayer markers will show up at this time.

You could see it on the stream, there's a small circle around the character that refreshes the map. Until that's done, the map remains the absolute same all the time, no changes at all.
