Here are some answers to the most frequently asked questions about Mark of the Ninja!

What is Mark of the Ninja?
Here’s the official description:

In Mark of the Ninja, you'll know what it is to truly be a ninja. You must be silent, agile and clever to outwit your opponents in a world of gorgeous scenery and flowing animation. Marked with cursed tattoos giving you heightened senses, every situation presents you with options. Will you be an unknown, invisible ghost, or a brutal, silent assassin?

It's currently available for download on Xbox 360 and Steam for PC, Mac, and Linux.

Where can I see trailers and stuff?

There's trailers, screenshots, and a desktop wallpaper collection!

We found a bug! Can you fix it?
If you find a bug on PC, let us know, and we’ll see if we can fix it. Unfortunately, not all bugs are able to be fixed, especially if it’s a compatibility issue, where we simply don’t have the hardware to locate the issue.

In terms of Xbox, due to the cost of updating, we were able to fix some of the bigger issues at launch, but it’s unlikely that we’d be able to keep updating the game. Thank you for understanding!

Does the game work on OSX / Linux?
Yup! Mark of the Ninja is now available on Steam for Mac OS X and Linux!

Is it coming to [some other platform]?
Unfortunately, probably not!

Are you making DLC?
Mark of the Ninja: Special Edition DLC is now available on Steam for PC, Mac, and Linux! Click on the link to find out more about the Special Edition DLC

Will there be a sequel?
While we’re blown away by the reception of Mark of the Ninja, we’re currently hard at work on a couple other original games. We really don’t know if we’re going to do a sequel, but rest assured that we’d only make one if we felt there was more to explore from a design and creativity perspective. Nothing half-assed!

Does your game support my gamepad / controller?
Mark of the Ninja officially supports keyboard and mouse and Xbox 360 gamepads.

Other gamepads / controllers will usually work, but they will assume the layout of the Xbox 360 controller. If the layout is wacky for your controller (buttons in the wrong spots), most modern gamepads support custom button layouts with their included software. Check your manufacturer's website for more details.

If you're using a controller that requires special home-brew drivers, mods or adapters to work (PlayStation Dual Shock Controllers, Snes controllers, Original Xbox Controllers etc...) we can't guarantee support. We simply don’t have the hardware to test all of these issues. You're always welcome to post your issue since we might have a solution, or someone from our community might chime in.

What if I didn't find my answer here?
The best thing to do is follow this flow.

Step 1 - Check sticky posts in the forum.
There's a good chance that if others had your question we made it a sticky post to make it easy to find.

For Mark of the Ninja, we even have a common problems troubleshooting thread you can scan.

Step 2 - Use the forum search tool.
You can do a basic search from the top right hand of any page on the forums. Or you can use the Advanced Search.

Searching keywords specific to your issue will probably return some really useful threads if it's a common problem or something we've gone over before.

Step 3 - Make a new post!
If you can't find a thread that relates to your question, post a new one! If it's a bug or a problem you've encountered, check out logs and useful info for bug reports..
