  1. I tried to make sprites, I think I failed. i removed the teeth and put a really bad tounge in some if anyone reads this, what should i do to deerclops sprite

An emergency's come up and I really need to make some money so I've decided to start taking commissions for DST character sprites starting at $70 (Price may increase depending on complexity) This is my first time taking commissions for this, from the mods I've done for myself, after starting I've finished within 3 days. So I'm thinking a week will be the longest wait per sprite. I won't start until money's sent to me (I only accept paypal at this time)
  3. So I'm trying to extract Warly's sprites from DST. Only problem is, I cannot find him anywhere in the game's files. They're present in Shipwrecked's files, so why not DST? The only sprites of his I can find are his idle air whiff animation (just the air part though), Portable Crock Pot and Chef Pouch. Also, I know DST isn't just somehow borrowing assets from singleplayer because every other character that is present in both DS and DST have files in each game. The assets are even slightly different between each game. And I know the same goes for Warly. So I don't understand why he's nowhere in the anim .zip. I have searched for "warly", "wastien", "cook", basically anything that one would even think would relate to Warly. No dice, and it's becoming rather frustrating. Thanks in advance!
  4. This is kind of a weird one and I'm not very hopeful there'll be a solution, but I basically want to know how I can export animations/individual texture frames for the survivors using ktools. There are 2 reasons why I'm asking this: 1: Because none of the main players' builds contain .ANIM files like the other entities do, which from what I read about ktools is required in order to export an .SCML file, yet I've seen .GIFs online and such places of the playable characters and I don't know how they obtained/made them 2: I want to be able to view each of the survivors' body part sprites in a similar fashion to the Extended Sample Character so I can see the actual frame isolated, so basically in a fashion that is a bit nicer than this: (Sorry if I'm not supposed to post this, let me know and I'll take it down or delete the thread entirely) Hopefully someone knows how to achieve this. It'd be really helpful to me to have the player characters' segregated, non-jumbled parts. Thanks in advance!

Okay, so I'm working on a character mod, and their base design has gloves with visible cuffs - sometimes when he emotes, these cuffs are in the wrong place, as I didn't have a reference to where they should be when I edited his hand sprites. But if I had the sprites of a hand skin that has cuffs as well, such as the hand covers, unprotective gloves, buckled gloves or driving gloves, I'd be able to use those as a reference. I understand that the image files for skins are kept under tight wraps for good reason, so I can't just get them out myself - but is there a way to get my hands on these, in a way that won't upset the devs? For the record, I do NOT intend to trace these. Tracing and referencing are not the same. (Please don't make fun of me because it's Shadow the Hedgehog. I know. I've heard it all before.)
  6. I think that if savannahs were larger, and with more things in them that it would be great! Maybe plants like cacti, small bushes (maybe like marsh plants, no use besides being esthetical), a waterhole where some creatures could center around maybe and I'd love if a tumbleweed would roll past me while being in the biome!
  7. seeing as the mods section seems to be all about releasing finished mods, i thought ide take a stab here. how would one go about modifying character sprites for don't starve? i have plans to edit Wilson's animations just for fun, but i am unsure of how to modify the filetypes for the character sprites. from what i could gather it seems to be the .tex files included in a zip but i couldnt turn up any results on google (that were actually useful) on modding .tex files.also if it helps any im running the steam version of don't starve.
