  1. We got some cool stuff in the lategame like thermium and super coolant but those aren`t crazy enough. What about some really crazy things that are useful as well. Miniature black hole - A contained black hole that can serve as an infinite storage of anything. The hole is contained but it will still suck the gas or liquid from the room it`s inside. The building should be 2x3 and have liquid and gas outputs (working like those from the reservoirs so you don`t have to connect them for it to work but if connected it outputs the gas and liquid through them). The basic idea of usage is to make an infinite storage of gas or liquid on a small space without exploits. Could also store solids working like a compactor. Programmable matter - Imagine a tile that can become any other type of tile dynamically. Simple concept; you build a wall and connect automation to a part of it. When set to active the connected section opens allowing dupes, gas and liquid to pass. More complex; a controlling device that can change the properties of programmable tiles in range. Can be set to airflow, mesh, transparent, ladder, insulated, open. Directly connecting with automation overrides the controller but only has an open/close option. Imagine what could be done with this thing. Probably should require power to operate to be balanced. Teleportation - A small teleport machine that can beam a dupe anywhere on them map (talk about a pathing nightmare). Maybe should require a "landing zone" you can build to avoid dupe sgetting stuck in random places. Works one way but can teleport between teleports as well. Requires space materials and takes more power than transport tubes. Each teleport needs 20s to recharge the quantum particles before the next dupe can be ported. Cryotech - Whenever you want to preserve a critter morph without feeding it and taking care of it, freeze it. Got too many dupes to maintain freeze some. Wake them up when they are needed. Why use the rockets to freeze dupes when we can get a dedicated machine for that.
  2. Wickerbottom's Scientific findings: “Koalefanta Proboscidea”- Proportions: The large footprints show the large size of the Koalefanta Proboscidea. The largest living Terrestrial animal, the amount of meat once killed, indicates the magnitude of the scope of the Koalefanta Proboscidea. The exact size is unknown due to the unwillingness of the Koalefanta Proboscidea, to cooperate. Auricle (Ears): The large Pinnae (Ear Flaps) may help the Koalefanta Proboscidea sense the coming of myself and making a getaway. The Pinnae, also contains capillaries, or blood vessels. The Psychology of the Koalefanta Proboscidea: The Koalefanta Proboscidea has a tendency to flee as the appearance of myself. This may be due to instinctual reaction due to my bad tendencies when faced with a large meaty animal (Roasted up and fed to the immediate concerns of my stomach, or myself). The differences in the appearance of the Koalefanta Proboscidea, due to the changing of the immediate season: The changing of the skin color is still in doubt and any immediate knowledge can be contested. My personal Hypothesis that because of the rapid change in temperature, it may cause a thickness of the coat, and so a also changing of the color perception seen in the Occipital of myself.

I know there may be more suggestions for this, It would be good that after you have explored the areas, that after a 10 days the areas could go back to black which forces you to go back out and explore, when you go back out the areas should change a bit there would be more wild growth, more animals would show in area, i’m on day 215 so i have come to a stand still for now.

I'm new to the game, so perhaps it's a bit noobish question, but I've noticed that the science I discover in one playthrough makes it's way to the next playthrough, meaning I only have to discover everything once, is that intentional? Is there a way to start without the discoveries, a totally clean save file? Is it going to be like that in the full game as well? Also, how about other characters, do I have everything discovered on them as well if I do it on Wilson, or each character starts fresh?I only have one character so far, so I can't check myself (bought the game yesterday).Great game so far, having a lot of fun with it, and there's so much that is still going to be added in the future, I can't wait and will definitely follow the game's development :)Cheers.

  6. This game seems science oriented. The creatures and AI are pretty cool.I was wondering what would happen if our hero began trying to create chimaeras by mixing the animals he may have trapped. I mean having a pig army is cool, let's go further. I thought about something like Creating your own creatures. They may : - have unique combinations of behaviour, appearance, food requirements. Who cares if the creature is not viable ? That's what science is made for : errors. - go back to wildness and break its slavery - rebel, try to kill you and feed the frankenstein myth I think that the AI programmer will have to tear his hair out, but it may be both funny and original.
