UPDATE (3/19/20): Just a quick note regarding the team at Klei Entertainment. As noted previously, everybody at Klei Entertainment is working from home due to the Covid-19 outbreak. Many of us have been working especially hard to help maintain operations as we all move out of the office and into our homes and with everything being done online, extra time must be spent in organizing conversations and trying to maintain communication. As some of you may know, we have a very open office and we are almost always in contact with each other as we go about our days. Some of us work across multiple teams and that work has become a bit more challenging for everybody. That being said, at this time the transition has not caused any major disruption in our operations, but it would be overly optimistic to expect that we won't have any delays at all. We're going to have to be especially mindful about this in the coming weeks and make sure we don't take on too much work so we can keep things running smoothly. We will let you know as we see how these changes affect our timelines. Thanks UPDATE (3/10/20):
The test yesterday went well. We got the whole office (mostly) to work from home without significant issue. As a result, Klei Staff that can work from home have been asked to do so until further notice. This means that we will have to cancel the Rhymes with Play stream until we are all back in the office. This shouldn't affect anything else at least in the short term, but if things change I will update you all here. Original Post: Hey everybody, This Tuesday March 10th, 2020 the entire staff at Klei will be working remotely for 1 day in an effort to prepare the studio to work remotely for a little while if the need arises. Klei is already set up pretty well to allow for working remotely, however we are going to have a one day "dry run" with the whole studio so that we can identify and avoid any issues or downtime that may arise should choose to implement a work from home policy due to COVID-19 outbreak concerns. Unfortunately this does mean that we will be canceling the “Rhymes with Play” Art stream this coming Tuesday, however unless the situation changes we expect everything at the studio to be back to normal Wednesday and we’ll continue our regular stream schedule Thursday March 12th. If the situation changes at all, we'll let you know. Thanks for your understanding.

I feel like potatoes don't get much love from what I've seen in-game. It's always dragonfruits and sometimes onions getting the spotlight, and while I do think these are great crops, I would argue that potatoes are the absolute BEST wormwood crop in the game, specifically in a team setting. I know it's an extreme claim to make, but please hear me out. The reason why I believe potatoes are the best in multiplayer, trumping even the legendary dragonfruit is because potatoes can single-handedly keep all 3 player statuses up extremely well: health, hunger, and sanity. I don't think many people know this, but cooked potatoes give some amazing stats. It's basically a better version of a pomegranate, giving just as much health and way more hunger. On top of this, the potato's shelf life is relatively high; 10 days is an amazing shelf life for a crop that gives good health and hunger. The thing that really sets potatoes apart from all of the other crops, though, is the extraordinarily easy-to-make sanity recipe. If you look at the sanity recipes for the other crops, almost all of them have some relatively annoying requirement attached to their recipe, whether it's ice, honey, or one of the rare crops like onions. Potatoes, however, have an extremely cheap recipe called Fancy Spiralled Tubers, and these give 15 sanity alongside a significant amount of hunger. All you need for this recipe is a potato, 2 twigs, and 1 of any non-meat filler. Just to clarify, one of the "?" boxes allows for a 2nd twig. On top of this, if you happen to get garlic, you have another option in the form of creamy potato purees, which is one of the "annoying" recipes that I mentioned but exists regardless as a situationally better sanity recipe. So there you have it; a single crop that is capable of inexpensively taking care of all 3 player stats. Of all the crops you can feed to the bird so your Wormwood friend can mass-produce that crop, potatoes should be priority #1. Because the initial claim was quite extreme, I want to clarify and address potential counterarguments to that claim so that there isn't any confusion. I am not at all saying that other crops are null and void, especially dragonfruits. While potatoes have a long shelf life, cooked potatoes don't, making them not ideal as a primary healing food in long boss fights (e.g. a multi-day dragonfly or toadstool fight with a nearby ice box) compared to pierogis and dragonfruit pies. Even tomatoes are better than potatoes in this context. I am simply pointing out potatoes' healing abilities for off-combat situations, quick-combat situations, or supplementary healing for long boss fights in a multiplayer server so you don't have to make so many dragonfruit pies or pierogis (hell, you can even exclusively use potatoes for the dragonfly fight because you can cook and eat your potatoes during the relaxing larvae-spawning breaks so they don't get stale). An argument I'm anticipating is the pointlessness of sanity recipes in the first place because having no sanity is a GOOD thing. For a solo player who WANTS low sanity to farm nightmare fuel for magiluminescence or knows how to unload shadows so that they never bother you again no matter your sanity, I absolutely agree. For team players in a large public server, however, sanity is actually important; you can't rely on the unloading mechanic to save you because the moment a teammate wanders into the area where your frozen shadows are, those frozen shadows will disappear and eventually reappear right next to you, possibly during an important boss fight. I also suspect that some will also disagree with my definition of "annoying" in reference to the tedious ingredients and recipes that I mentioned. I am not at all saying that these ingredients are hard to get by any stretch of the imagination; I'm simply saying that they're much more tedious to get than 2 twigs and a berry (or literally any other plant food, like carrots or even another potato). I'm also especially not saying that cactus - which gives the exact same amount of sanity - is hard to get either; it's just a bit more tedious due to being exclusively located in the desert, causing small damage when picked, and often being widely spaced apart so that you can't mass-farm them with Horticulture like you would with Wormwood potatoes and twigs. I used to think that Wickerbottom and Woodie were the ultimate pair capable of saving a 20-man server from total annihilation, but unrottable avocadoes alone aren't enough to keep them from dying. If you really want a duo that can single-handedly save the entire server by keeping them healthy, full, and - just as importantly - sane, you should pick Wickerbottom and Wormwood AND make that Wormwood plant disproportionately more potato seeds.
