  1. Who do you think Wurt is?
  2. Since Klei has been adding new characters to the game, I'm seriously considering them adding a Rock Lobster Character. For one, their name could be Walstromite which is the name of a rock of course. Their drawbacks could included decreased effects from food, but the ability to eat rocks sorta along the lines of Wartox and Wormwoods negatives. More rare rocks like gems and gold should give more hunger and could even give special bonuses to health and sanity depending on the mineral consumed. Klei could even go so far as to make a rockpot for specifically mineral based meals made from different arrangements of rocks and gems that only Walstromite and access. To make them more interesting and like their lobster friends, they should also have the ability to temporarily hide in their shell. This would be followed by a brief cool down to prevent abuse. When in hiding they should have at least a 70% damage absorption and no more than 90% for more balancing. Additionally this character should have substantial health perhaps even upwards of 250 hp. Furthermore, they should receive a heavily nerfed - but not totally gone - negative sanity drain in the dark as Rock lobsters live in caves. To balance their positives this character should definitely move noticeably slower to fit more as a tank type of character. Please tell me if this idea seems valid and give suggestions for improvement. I really think a character like Walstromite fits well in the constant.

  4. Hello, I come today with a new suggestion. I know that in short time there will be 4th character and last one. Atleast for a while. Each character is unique and with diferent abilities, specialy new characters that came out in last few months they seem reverse of other characters. Some of them can't be friended for some passive mobs or gains less benefit from eating foods. Or have different taste when repeating! So my idea is Vampire character who will be different from them all. Here are some downsides and positives. _____________________________________________________________________________________ # Weak at day time, medium strength at evening and strong at night. (at over world) # Slow at day, normal speed at evening and fast at night.(at over world) # Bright Vision at day time, good Vision at evening and night Vision at night. (at over world) # Can be friends with bats, neutral to spiders, enemy to passive mobs. Such as bunny men or pig men, catcoons. # Gains less benefit of food or something similar like Wortox, or only gains benefir when eats live animal, such as rabbits, birds, moles …. idk -Vampires don't get benefit from food, they drink blood. # Does not freeze when cold, but overheats quickly when stays near fire or at summer time. # Overheating for a long time will make him start burning (If he has not equipt eyebrella or umbrella. -with this ability he will be perfect character for caves and winter time or early spring, but terrible for summer time or very early autumn. # When he is in caves he feel comfortable and maybe even gain sanity down there. Also negative effects, such as slow and weak at day, poor Vision at day time will not affect him while he is down stairs. _________________________________________________________________________________________ What do you guys think of Vampire Character in DST?

Here are some of my ideas Many of them involve boats and sailing but I also described here the rework of two characters (Wendy and Wes), characters from the basic game (Wagstaff) from DS Shipwrecked (Woodlegs and Walani) and DS Hamlet (Wheeler and Wilba), two new biomes (beach and cave village), new items (both from DSS and DSH), new mobs, new skills for all characters, changes in: tabs, bosses (shadow chess pieces), mobs, weather effects, sanity and naughtiness and finally my idea for a new one character.   7. WeeTusk: The Glutton "That's probably edible." Health:150 Hunger: 200 Sanity:200 Abilities: His unarmed melee is a bite rather than a punch.Does 30 damage unarmed. Unarmed attacks restore 5 hunger. (doesn't work with Chester or lure plants) Starts with Walrus Hat (not Tam O' Shanter) While wearing the Walrus Hat, health damage is converted to 2x hunger damage. Armor lessens damage while wearing the walrus hat. He freezes at 75% speed in winter and overheats at 125% in antiwinter and in lava caves. Wearing the Tam O' Shanter restores 10 sanity per minute. Method of unlocking: There will be a MacTusk city with WeeTusk sleeping in the middle.There are no other WeeTusks in the MacTusk city. After all of the MacTusks and Hounds are defeated, WeeTusk will do that scream, and then run inside, unlocking him as a playable character. Just a doodle I made while I was thinking of Don't StarveWinslow - The punk rockerStarts with an Electric GuitarElectric guitar- has the same effects of the one man band but drains less sanity and it's durability can be restored using charged lighting rod(starts at 0, 33% restored per lighting rod). If he has more than 5 followers he slowly gains sanity. Can be used as a weapon, but uses durability(same damage as walking cane)What do you guys think?

  10. Name: Wayland The Sociopath. Look: Thinish build, with sharp features rather than handsome. Sinister smile and bags around his eyes. Clothes: White and black Straight-jacket. Hair:medium finger brushed apart hair, hair color grayish white. Special power: Split personality that is the insane part of him, his name is Watende which means revengeful. - change happens randomly (don't know why it didn't update) and he will not change back to you kill something, Watende will make remarks/jest about things he kills. And say his other side is weak. -Wayland is immune to insanity at the cost of his other side being fully insane. If a new update comes out for weapons: Custom knife? That when examined says. Taste of vengeance is sweet. Background: Wayland once lived a happy life with his family. His mum and dad. They thought their son was going insane, talking to himself all the time. He had only one friend he called him Watende. His other side. When he was 10 his parents died horribly through murder, by their uncle because they were wealthy. But he didn't know that Wayland was watching, in his anger a voice inside his head told him that his parents blood must be re-payed so he grabbed a knife from the kitchen draw and.... you can guess what happened next. Wayland was sent to a mental institution he was locked in a room, tortured and in solitude, but he still had his "friend" Watende. He remained their till he was a early man. Going into game/appearance. One night he and Watende had enough and so they broke out. In the dark, in the madness and insanity he blacked out and woke up in a strange new world. He saw a sinister looking man, named Maxwell who told him "Say pal you don't look so good. You better get something to eat before night comes." New Items If a new update comes out with weapon ideas: A nice new sparkling knife! Maybe less appealing than a big spear but what this thing doesn't make up in size it makes up in speed and ferocity! Considered all posts and I am deciding that maybe his change occurs randomly. Suggestions have been thought out, will leave for a Beta. Easiest way is just to create Wayland and leave Watende for later, if the developers would like to make their own powers/perks to him... That's all for now. Describe your issue Haven't been able to open Don't Starve since Wednesday, 11/21. At first I thought it was possibly being updated but I assume it should now be back up but every time I attempt to open the game it instantly tells me that The app is currently unreachable. Any help?
