  1. It's been 60 cycles since I got this room setup and no Morb has been spawned. Help! Pls! Thanks! added: that room has no morbs and it is a new room, it has never given birth to any morbies
  2. In sandbox mode, I had 70+ morbs, but they only produce 200kg O2, which is only 50% of the expected quantity. Pressure of PO2 room was maintained below 200g. Can someone help pls. Here is another question: I know flying critters will torture CPU especially shine bugs since game has to determine luminous intensity. But when I had 70+ morb (maybe it was 90 I seriously couldn't count :/) and had full map revealed, my laptop was handling it fine, barely see any CPU workload inscrease, 2% increase in RAM. Does that mean the game can handle hundreds of walking critters in a relatively simply room without problems?
  3. This method uses critters' self-preservation. You drown them and they escape to the only high ground. I haven't test if they go back when the door opens, and i don't know how to test it cuz I don't know how to use sandbox mode to copy paste things. But I believe it won't be able to. Things you might want to know in spoiler Same for hatch Similar for gecko If you want to kill the escaping critter, simply lock the pneumatic door. Once it's dead and auto-sweeper suck out the meat, the system will go back to default state.
  4. I am sure someone can come up with a better way of doing this but I had some fun playing around with the design and thought I would share my attempt. Same idea could also be used to sort hatches into ranches with available space. Keep in mind this only works with one critter at a time so you could not have several outhouses - could change it a bit and add another chamber to make it work with several mobs, hatches etc.. You can't have doors below outhouses anymore so only one morb will spawn until you reload the game. I guess you could also just have a chamber to the side of the outhouse instead of dropping them but I wasted enough time on this so enjoy!
  5. See attached clip -- not sure why the doors aren't opening... I'm sure it's just my not properly understanding of how they work, it's the first time I've used them. Are morbs not critters? Is there an additional variable I'm not understanding? Any help is much appreciated! P.S.: I re-enabled the drop-stop toilets after reading somewhere else Morbs won't spawn from them otherwise.
