Hey! I'm happy to release Tools Not Included - updated for the Launch Upgrade! https://ToolsNotIncluded.net The site currently features a map browser (before the Launch Upgrade wipe we were at over 50 000 maps!) and a mod to upload them from the game. You can also search for seeds that have the required set of traits: https://toolsnotincluded.net/map-tools/world-trait-finder If you wish to contribute to the map database, please refer to https://toolsnotincluded.net/map-tools/map-browser/contribute I'm still planning on adding new tools to the site Please report issues to the issue tracker here: https://github.com/Cairath/tools-not-included/issues Discord: https://discord.gg/7wNFaVd (for people interested in the development of my mods or website, or help with modding in general) Happy map hunting! I swear I tried to post this in my kakariko thread, but it kept just pushing me back to the beginning of the thread and not posting it (perhaps an anti-multipost measure?). I'm making a new gmod map that is very ambitious. It will have pretty much all content made by me and it will be its own world, I won't steal ideas from Nintendo. All textures, models, sounds will be from me and even the idea isn't based on anything in particular. Here's a preview of the first model. I'm pretty psyched. Its working title is Adorable Town. (also, JoeW, a lowercase IMG tag isn't allowed but uppercase is.)
Bug Submission Please choose a category [Gameplay] Platform Chrome Version Number 70684 Issue title Enemy hit-boxes are innacurate Steps to reproduce Trying to click on some areas of enemies such as Tall Bird's head will not produce an action and will only move the player. Describe your issue Hey, I've been having this problem a lot and died about 7 times in a row due to it. If you could fix it, that would be great! So I was fighting a Tall Bird and this "bug" happened. I hit it once but then when I tried to hit it again my mouse had moved off of the hit-box and I died. This happened multiple times so I decided to post this bug report. My problem with it is that the hit-box for your mouse on the Tall Bird is only on it's feet so I couldn't click it. This could be fixed by simply enlarging the hit-box to fit it's entire body. Thank you for reading, ~BtheDestroyer
The main point of my suggestion is to make new connecting map areas that can be unlock by completing a task or getting an achievement(s) which in hand can unlock new monsters/bosses/items. The map is nice as it is but once explored gets a little dull and seems small. Basically, keep the maps as they are except for adding unlockable areas that can and will expanded the current map(s) in a great way. Plus, give players chooses in what kind of map they are picking from preset maps to random ones with more than one game save. Let me know what you think and any ideas you might to help expand on the topic of maps.
