  1. I'd like to be able to craft the Gobbler Shrine and Varg Shrine, and to sculpt the Hound and Varg Statues at the Potter's Wheel, whenever Lunar New Year events recur. All the content from past Winter's Feasts and Hallowed Nights events can be recreated yearly; it saddens me a little bit that these past Lunar New Year features are lost forever outside of worlds that are permanently set to Year of the Gobbler / Year of the Varg.
  2. Sé que el update ya pasó pero para los que no lo han jugado igual pueden accedere al contenido si lo eligen desde el menu de generacion de mundo en la parte del calendario espero que les guste https://www.youtube.com/edit?o=U&video_id=vJnuToRHMa8
  3. Year of the Gobbler fanart!! I'm a bit late but it's finally finished! I hope you enjoy!!!!
  4. Since the Bush hat is pretty underwhelming right now, I had the idea of giving the player the ability to bait the hat. So when they hide in it and a gobbler goes up to eat the berries, the player sticks a hand out killing it. Or maybe even grabbing the gobbler pulling him in for a wrestle and the player comes out victories with a morsel and a drumstick. What do you guys think?
  5. Draw Them

I wondered what the shadow monsters actually look like, without their shadowy-ness, with color and stuff, i`d bet they would be pretty scary...Imagine a crawling horror and a Terrorbeak and Mr. Skits in color and no shadow.... Ahem, i wonder what they would look like...
  6. My Idea is you can get a Gobbler Eggs and you could hatch them. As babys you can make a baby carrier for the Baby Gobbler so you can carry them around (The Baby Carrier would require a backpack and 5 Beefalo Fur and 2 ropes to make) Instead of having to wait for them to catch up because Baby's are kinda slow. And you feed it berrys and seeds but as it gets older (It will get bigger as well) It will need more food untill it grows into a Full mature Gobbler that obays you. What the Mature Gobbler would do is Threw out the day he will leave the Base/Camp you made to get you any kinda food he finds other then berries and Mandrakes. How will he Deliver them? With a backpack you equip him (Or Krampus Sack). And He stores the food in the Ice Box (Untill Its Full) Then If it is full he will place it on the floor in frount of the Ice box. The Mature Gobbler would be docile around other mobs as well. Like Runing away from the mobs that try to hurt him but not towards you. And to Make it more Simpler to identify your Gobbler put a hat on him!The Baby Carrier would work on the Smallbird as well. and if you are hit you both take damage. The Cons for this is that The Gobbler/Your Gobbler will eat any berries,Roasted berries,Fist full of jam, Mandrake Stew. you have in the Icebox. And Your Gobbler would not take out spoiled food. And if your gobbler gets damaged by you he Turns wild and runs away. The baby gobbler (Growing) Would get heavyer and Heavyer so you become slower and slower. killing a gobbler near your gobbler would turn your gobbler wild and he will leave.Eating a Drumstick,Fried Drumstick, Turkey dinner , Berrys,Roasted Berries, Mandrake,Cooked Mandrake, Mandrake Soup, Fist full of Jam will make him go wild and leave.Might bring nothing. Will bring rot or pedals. More food = More attention he might have mobs following him back to base.
  7. hey guys, I know there are quite a few lets plays of this game already out there but I enjoy this game regardless so I'm going to be recording it aswell. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ft3GUu9G2ek I hope you guys enjoy.
  8. Punk Rock

Much like Optimus Pine, there should be guardians of other zones. Mining too many rocks may cause a Punk Rock (rock golem with a mossy mohawk) to up and attack you. It should be difficult to kill and have chances of dropping gems, gold, and flint upon death.
  9. I was reading the update notes (More importantly the replys to the notes.) and while the update helped fight the great and powerful berry farms, many people (Myself included) didn't really get slowed down by the Gobblers. Eg. I was picking my berrys and, due to some great die roll in the sky, out of (Almost)every bush popped a Gobbler, one after the other. This was quite a funny event, but in the end I just waved my spear at them and I didn't lose a single berry to the army of hungry thieves. (Note: You have no idea what it is like to scare away an army of Gobblers. It might have been the best moment in the game.) Getting back on track. I got to thinking, what if there is a high amount of berry bushes in an area, lets say 10. A big tough Gobbler decides to move in (Possible names: Gobbler Bruiser, King Gobbler, Gobbler Squatter.) these Gobblers would be tough painful and generally hard to kill. But however shall you deal with such a beast? My idea is, it stays and lives in your berry farm, slowly becoming fatter and fatter. Then what was once a mighty King Gobbler is now an Obese Gobbler who can't run and can't fight. This will allow the Gobblers to knock out your berrys of a while, thus making you gather different food. But there is also somewhat of a payoff as you can cook the fat bugger. Also, people plant their berrys near watter in order to trap Gobblers, maybe just have them jump in? It would be quite funny to watch a Gobbler jump into the sea in order to "Escape".
  10. I dont know if this is a expected behavior, dont even know if u should report this as a bug. But if this is not a bug this should be changed asap. Its vering frustrating to find a mandrake, lure them to ur camp and a f*ucking gobbler just eat it. Very very frustranting. Waiting on some kind of feedback from a mod or something.
