  1. Chester Deerclops Krampus for now just 3, more will coming
  2. - ancient custodian (striped horse) the ancient custodian is the fleshy version of the clockwork knight bearing a resemblance of a zebra like horse that only stands on 2 legs, the ancient custodian resides on safer parts of the ruins generally in pacts and usually attacking if anyone or anything harms they’re crows or kin - ancient overseer (crystal beaks) Much like the custodian the ancient overseer is the original clockwork bishop bearing a resemblance of a bird but with a strange crystal imbedded into they’re head, the overseer can use range attacks it can also call upon a pack of custodians to aid it if the overseer is near a group or it gets desperate - crow crones (crownes.... does that even work) crow crones are humanoid crow like creatures that well appear next/near your base and will sell items in exchange for other items, however the crow crones well not be easy to trust for they might give you a weapon or a tool that might backfire on the player or do the opposite of what they do, these nasty beings will always come in groups of 3 and if harm you better be prepared for a battle of randomness and chaos... - scorchians these flammable like scorpions appear in the oasis during summer or appear in caves during autum, these creatures generally hunt alone or sometimes in pacts but when they do hunt alone they hide in little holes and wait for any creature to get near them enough to go for the kill - Mad caps these mad mushrooms grow in the dark places of the caves, if they see a player they will latch onto they’re head and drain they’re sanity, the only way to get them off is if a player attacks the mad cap while they’re on the player otherwise they’re pretty harmless once they’re off and that was my new creature concept... nothing else to say :/
  3. - faker/stalker this being will appear when the player is suffering from a lack of sanity and then will just stare at the player making them uneasy and then they will charge at the player however they won’t harm them but disappear when they get to them causing a small sanity decrease - siren a siren will generally appear near a pile of rocks in the middle of the sea, when ever a player might be driving near their area the siren will sing a song and will manipulate the driver of the ship to crash into rocks or if there’s no steering wheel it will then try to put one of the players to sleep or 2, however the one of which aren’t manipulated by the siren can try to wake up the player from the hypnosis or kill the siren. - collectors There has been people who had discovered the ruins however they never left on the account of they’re greed, the collectors are strange creatures that has a obsession with gems and strange artifacts, if a player is carrying any gemstones or magic stuff the collector will attack the player and after killing them steal what they deem as value to them. They also hate each other and will constantly get into fights with one and another - flower mothers flower mothers are usually in the more plant infested parts of the caves, flower mothers are like tree guardians however they protect all of the nature and will defend them with root like tendrils - mimic in the ruins there are some chests that shouldn’t be opened, the mimics are cursed chests that will attack the player if the mimic was interacted with, after killing the mimic they will drop what ever item they were holding. that was another creature concept yet again however it’s just a idea nothing more

  5. What I have noticed in don't starve is that Wilson is imprisoned in a wilderness with strange creatures, but one of the creatures (The giant one eyed bird thing) was a mythical creature called a tripodero. Here is a description taken from an e-book FEARSOME CREATURES OF THE LUMBER WOODS The chaparral and foothill forests of California contain many ***** freaks of one kind and another. One of the strangest and least known is the tripodero, and animal with two contractile or telescopic legs and a tail like a kangaroo's. This peculiarity in structure enables the animal to elevate itself at will, so that it may tower above the chaparral, or, if it chooses, to pull in its legs and present a compact form for crowding through the brush. The tripodero's body is not large but is solidly built, and its head is nearly all snout, the value of which is seen in the method by which food is obtain. As the animal travels through the brush-covered country it elongates its legs from time to time, thus shoving itself up above the brush for purposes of observation. If it sights game within a range of ten rods it takes aim with its snout and tilts itself until the right elevation is obtained, then with astonishing force blows a sundried quid of clay, knocking its victim senseless. (A supply of these quids is always carried in the left jaw.) The tripodero then contracts its legs and bores its way through the brush to its victim, where it stays until the last bone is cracked and eaten. http://www.fearsomecreaturesofthelumberwoods.com/pg45.htmI will try to find more information about the tripodero
