SakkeEU posted a topic in Early Access - General DiscussionIt always bothered me the lack of exploitation by Klei of the teleportato (and adventure mode) mechanic, it could be the gateway to a "New game +" but it's so basic you can't even re-customize your new world. Since there is no way to make a world dlc compatible after its creation and the latest dlcs are always compatible with the older ones, my idea was to lock the dlc stuff ( like obsidian firepit in RoG, and many other blueprints that it is now possible to craft in every world )behind the teleportato. Pros: - Purer dlc experience. - Teleportato is finally useful. Cons: - Conflicts to solve (what happens when you use sky/sea worthy? What happens to the key to the city). - Gotta search for those things. The days where resources were finite are long gone so the teleportato feels more useless that ever right now. Thoughts?
Bought and used Hibearnation vest blueprint and moggles blueprint, didn't get recipes in crafting tab. I had crafted both in RoG world before. Odd that Hibearnation vest didn't appear in crafting menu for me, scaled chest did when I crafted in RoG world and so did Luxury Fan. Wasted 80 oincs. My world is quite old as well, made it like a month ago.
caittorr posted a topic in Tutorials & GuidesI always make the same base layout, and I'm sick of always having to redo it every time I start a new game. I'm trying to figure out how to combine the idea of a set piece and a blueprint (not a Don't Starve blueprint, a real blueprint). I want to create my base, in-game, then somehow copy it all and create a blueprint out of it, or like a set piece. Then in another save, I'd like to collect all the materials necessary and have the base layout as a recipe and be able to place it like an item. I've been trying to figure this out for a while, but none of the other posts really explain how to do this.
