      [UPDATED] Physical Megapack Disc Issues   04/16/2018

      Update 5/11/2018 We do not have any more information at this time. The last we spoke to 505 indicated that the discs should be ready very soon. We will likely have more information next week; hopefully with full explanation of when and how to get new discs.    Updated: 4/27/2018

      On April 17th, the Don't Starve Megapack was released. Almost immediately, it was discovered that the wrong content was printed on the PS4 retail version of Don’t Starve Mega Pack (the Xbox One version is not affected). The disc contained Don't Starve Together, but was without Don't Starve, Reign of Giants and Shipwrecked. As soon as we confirmed the problem we contacted our retail publisher to find out how this happened and what could be done. It's taken some time to get this far, but this is all the information we have at this time. The current status of the issue is as follows: New copies are currently in print and will be on shelves ASAP, hopefully within a few weeks.  When the new discs arrive in stores, players who already purchased misprinted discs will be able to exchange the disc for a new one in store. Details will follow as we figure out the exact timing, the procedures with specific retailers and what the exchange will entail.  Players who already purchased the faulty disc previous to 4/26/2018 can now contact Klei support HERE for a Playstation Store voucher code that includes Don't Starve Together, Don't Starve, Shipwrecked and the Reign of Giants DLC that you can play now. Please specify your country as certain vouchers only work in certain regions.  New purchasers of the Megapack in store as of 4/26/2018 should be given a voucher at the time of purchase on your receipt. If you do not get a code, contact us ALL purchasers will have a path to get a new disc when they are ready. We do not have details at this time, but we are comitted to ensuring that all players get what they purchased.  We are hearing from some players that some retailers are telling players that they will not be exchanging discs. We believe this to be incorrect and that particular person or location is just misinformed. 505 has ensured us that they are doing their best to make sure these discs are being replaced for all players. We will not allow anybody to fall through the cracks here. We will buy and ship the discs ourselves if we have too.   This was our first major retail release and we're extremely disappointed that our players have been let down with their purchase of the Don't Starve Megapack. We're doing our best to make sure this issue gets resolved as quickly as possible. Thanks everybody for your support and patience. We'll keep you updated.    UPDATE: (4/26/2018) We are now ready to send out vouchers to players who purchased the physical version of the Don't Starve Megapack - These codes will allow players to download and play Don't Starve and DLC as well as Don't Starve Together To get a voucher players can contact as at our support site: http://support.kleientertainment.com/customer/portal/emails/new  For the subject, choose "PS4 Megapack" and fill in the form and we'll get you fixed up as soon as possible.  We will require a picture of your receipt, your Klei account ID and the region you are located in (so we can give you the proper voucher).  UPDATE: (4/24/2018) Earlier this week, we discovered that the wrong content was printed on the PS4 retail version of Don’t Starve Mega Pack (the Xbox One version is not affected).   7. Hi guys, so I need help with part of .lua code, as I am not very experienced and I am having a hard time understanding a few things on how to get this mod to work correctly. Basically I want this mod called Vacuum Chest to ignore things like Tooth Traps, while picking up other valid items. It currently works this way in Don't Starve Together, but not in Don't Starve Alone. Below I've posted the vacuum_chest.lua files, and I've marked the part that I need help with. The first one shows the current DS version that picks up set traps, and the second one shows the working DST version that doesn't pickup set traps. If anyone can help me port this functionality to DS, and maybe even understand how it works, that would be absolutely amazing.   9. So I had the misfortune to have the desert volt goat herd spawn near a bunch of hound mounds. Inevitably, the poor goats got torn to shreds and eaten. Will more respawn in the same area eventually, or am I sunk as far as electric milk is concerned? At least I got a bunch of horns.

  12. if you couldn't tell from the title I am HYPED about hamlet! I bought "Don't Starve" and its 2 DLC's over a year ago (I was late to the party) but I LOVED IT! its creativity and art style really stuck home with me and I adored it!...sadly I couldn't mod at the time so my dreams of having a custom character to play as were dashed and I moved away from the game for while while working in my 3D classes fast forward to 3 months ago and I started really working hard to put together a mod! now my mod is darn near done and I'm happy! ...except for a few things the original Don't Starve fanbase had all moved to DST and DS was starting to have a few small issues over time like crashing upon boot for 1st time opening and with practically no-one really modding for it anymore the replay-ability was starting to wane...(also a few graphical issues due to no 64 bit version) then I found out about Hamlet! I NEW DLC! in a TOWNLIKE setting in the original DS! the hype train has officially taken off! ....I'M HYPED!!! this could mean so SOOO many great things for the original DS players! honestly I hope that Hamlet can bring alot more life back to Don't Starve as I feel Klei makes REALLY great games with compelling stories! I originally GOT this game because I LOVE dark twisted interesting stories! and thinking what Hamlet could bring to the DS table? its got me theorizing! some things I REALLY hope for in Hamlet! (Klei if anyone in your company is reading this then HELLO! and plz consider the following) my top 10 hopes for Don't Starves future! (starting with Hamlet!) #1 a character that attacks by kicking instead of punching (this would be fascinating to see and leaves some interesting weapon designs open for exploration!...heck having characters with any different animations would really liven things up and just generally be awesome!) #2 a 64 bit version (this would fix alot of loading times being slow and reduce crashing and \ lines appearing when running around with a fast character) #3 more indepth backstories for the main cast of characters (Wilson and Maxwell are the characters we know lorewise the best! why not tell us more about the others pasts?) #4 multi floor shelters (having characters/mobs that can/can't climb up ladders or stairs could be disastrous and advantageous depending on the player or mob! for instance a hound could not climb a ladder! but they could destroy the platform supports and send the player crashing down to a swarm of teeth! but played wisely this platforming trick could organize home bases and look cool and even save the player for other disasters...like floods! *more on that later*...players would still be wrecked by giants though) #5 rivers and FLOODING! (has no-one noticed how in Don't Starve you can only fish in a pond? not in the ocean (cept shipwrecked) and that theres NO rivers! if there were rivers then after winter it would be more realistic to have rivers rise and floods happen all over! so home bases on ground could be compleatly trashed by currents destroying their chests and crops and washing them away! *hence platforms and multi floor shelters would be awesome!*) #6 infamy and exile! (since hamlet shows a townlike setting sofar why not have the player be able to be a theif? or murderer? slaughtering pigmen could lead to not just getting your butt kicked but even executed! or exiled by being thrown out of the town your currently in!...a theif could even be sent to a jail and have to break out!...fun food for thought!) #7 pets! (generally awesome!) #8 new forms for Chester! (Chester is an awesome lil guy! he keeps your stuff and can be upgraded into 2 forms!...why not have MORE forms! ones that keep certain mobs from attacking him! or even let him wear hats!) #9 swimming! (allowing players to swim would be a REALLY neat and useful skill! ...but it would need to be timed with a "drowning" meter that would fill up the longer the player character was in water!...this would also be fun for shipwrecked if one wanted to RP a character that couldent make a boat and loved diving down for a chance at food!) #10 more animal/not human characters! (Wilbur WX-78 and Webber are by far my fave characers! their unique looks ((and movements for Wilbur)) make them super fun to play! having more animal or not human characters in general can really spice things up and have alot more unique traits!) and thats my top 10!!! thanks for reading guys! if anyone has any new or cool stuff that they wanna share or theories about Hamlet that have been burning in their minds they gotta shout out! feel free to comment!   13. I want to recommend you this mod. This is what I wrote to his creator : "Warly is my favorite SW character. I must admit, that currently he is a challenging character to play - with almost no rewarding perks. But I like that challenge, he surely is unique. This mod (I thought) would make him too easy - but I must admit - this version of Warly SHOULD be implemented in the game. You made him worth playing and fun. Great job !" I'm really new to Don't Starve fandom, I bought the game March last year but didn't play it much I'm bad at survival games but this game art hh, but because my friend dragged me into it this December with Together, I finally found joy of playing it!! I'm not really the type to do stylized art because it's not really my good side, but I love to do it with DS style! Why? Because it's so opposite of my that it makes it so funny! The sketchy lines, dark pallete, compared to my smooth as possible and colourful palletes... Anyway!! I started to make it more of biography, rather than start-up to thread... So! I will post my fanart and stylized art from time to time, don't expect regular updates! For the first shot here comes an icon I made for my brother a little while ago, which I am really proud of!

  24. I've been hooked on this game every since it came out on PS3 and through ROG and Shipwrecked. Wendy and Wigfrid are still my two favorite to play as. So I self indulged and did an art with them together :3 Hope you guys enjoy it! I draw chibi art so often that I decided to do an epic scene instead with a lot going on.   25. Hi, Here's A Tutorial of how to install this mouse cursors: Well the first thing to do is: Download the cursors. Open your Control Panel Go to Mouse Properties Go to Pointers Select Diagram and choose None Double Click on Normal Selection This Window will show up. Now go to the cursors folder And select Normal This will happen We have to do it with all And then save as you want And There you go You can enable cursor shadow if you want Apply & Save. Remember this: You have to have the cursors in a permanent folder (or wherever you want) because if you move it or delete it this will stop working.
