  4. Hey everyone! I just wanted to share a comic that I've been posting on DA for the past couple days. Hopefully this will be turning into a Summer Project for me to keep me busy while I wait away the time between the conventions I sell at. If you want to see them at my DA as well as my other art, check here. http://autobotgirl.deviantart.com/ Done in Photoshop.
  5. I had this awful idea during a forge match voice chat with my best friend. This is about the most productive thing I've done since Monday. Someone stop me.

  7. Hello! I'm Thememime from tumblr and I've never posted art on forums before, but I rlly wanted to share art here too! :> There's a lot of Wes and Wilson, because they're my favourite characters in the game, but I'll get around drawing the whole cast eventually! Everyone is so charming and funny... So far I also drew Maxwell, Charlie, Wx-78 and Willow (with Bernie).

  10. Chapter I: Another Day With Them Wilson woke up from his slumber to the familiar feel of a slightly lumpy, yet comforting spring mattress. He sat up, and looked around, a bit confused. It was his old bedroom, back at the....well, others wouldn't call it a mansion. But Mister Higgsbury often referred to it as such. All the familiar things were there. A few blueprints lying on a wooden stool next to the bed, a bureau with a childhood photo of himself displayed in a wooden frame, a small metal toolbox with certain supplies. It all seemed so strange. What had happened...who knows how long ago? He looked at the wall facing his bed, where there was a rather old-looking calendar. By the looks of it, he had only been gone for one day. The days certainly seemed a lot longer. How could that be? He looked out his bedroom window, at the road leading up to the decrepid mansion. The twisting road and gnarled, leafless trees seemed so very unchanged. The skies were clear for a change. Wilson stepped back and shook his head in surprise. Was it all a dream? The man on the radio, the machine, the strange hands? All the things he had made in the strange wilderness were gone. Maybe it was all a fever dream of some sort. He hurried downstairs, and headed into the "living room", where the machine had been. It was gone, as if it had never existed. A thick line of static came from the radio. All the scientific equipment and lab animals were there, with an almost uncanny level of organization. Wilson stopped and shook his head even harder, the idea of it actually all not being real having trouble sinking in. A relieved sigh escaped the scientist's lips. He left the living room and headed into the main hall. On a golden stand was a fine black jacket and top hat. After what had just happened, maybe a break from science was in order. A bit of socializing would do the mind good. He put on the coat and top hat, and put his hand on the knob of the front door to leave, when suddenly, he heard something from the radio, just barely. A single, solitary, "Hey." Against better judgement, he walked back over to the radio. "Say, pal..." came the radio's voice. It was the exact same one from his strange dream. A wave of dread overtook Wilson. He slowly started to back away. "Hey! Pal, where do you think you're running off to?" Wilson couldn't bring himself to answer. He bolted back into the hall and out the door. He didn't want anything more to do with that voice. All he really wanted was to be as far away from that place as possible, for a while. Unfortunately, he didn't even make it down past the porch before he was stopped by two familiar, shadowy claws, transparent, yet visible, waiting for him. He barely had time to scream before they grabbed him, choking him and slowly pulling him into darkness. He could hear a loud hiss. He awoke again with a scream, this time returned to the smell of a fire pit that had just gone out, a spear at his side, and the cawing of a crow. That was a dream, instead. This land is Wilson's nightmare, one that is all too real.
  11. I don't know why I haven't shared this here yet. Nearly half a year ago I built Wilson's Cabin in Sims 4 and I'm pretty extremely pleased with it. Front Exterior: Back Exterior: First Floor: Second Floor: Attic: Here's a link where you can download it. I don't have any mods or expansions on this, so it should work no matter what version of Sims 4 you have.
  12. Year of the Gobbler fanart!! I'm a bit late but it's finally finished! I hope you enjoy!!!!

Page 1 "Wilson seem to have wandered off for a long time, troubled by his thoughts, starvation, lurking monsters and the fact that he has no idea when he might escape the wilderness. Wilson knows there is "something" watching him, how else could every day end up in torment? It's like somebody is toying with the entire world... Wilson is determined to know why."
  14. AN: A quick reminder that I've written this many times before, but I was unsure exactly what I wanted Wynn to be, how old or how rash, but I think I've found a good balance for her character so here we goooo! The pieces of the machine was coming along rather well, and though the ideal parts he’d normally use weren’t in his grasp, Wilson knew it was solid, and that it would work. Some of the smaller gears and such were not easy to produce, but he knew in the end it would all be worth it. He tapped a joint into place with a small rock, and tested to see if the socket was holding. It was, and so he attached the other end to a gear. It was very far from being done, so far it didn’t even look like his sketches he kept in a simple leather bound book. The paper was rough and seriously worn from rain and claws. Smudges marked the uneven pages, and yet Wilson could understand the many scribbles and doodles. He doesn’t spend too much on his device, instead having to put his attention towards fighting off hunger and the chill that blew in just last night. Unlike the other nights, this cold stuck, and was starting to make his fingers numb. He began his daily chores with weeding the small area he called a farm, watering the plants and giving them an encouraging compliment every once in awhile. After he finishes that he takes a walk along a thinly bricked road, up to see if his traps had produced anything. It seemed the bait worked this time. The trick now though, was to retrieve the animal without letting it squirm away. This proved to be more difficult, and got the little scientist a bit bloody in the process. Blood no longer bothered him as it may have done in his first few days on this dreaded island, as hunger always beats humanity. One trap was suspiciously broken, the twigs and grass crushed in, a little blood on them, and a faint trail leading out in the surrounding forest. This made him think for a long moment. Should he risk capturing whatever beast or animal had stolen one half of a meal from him? It was certainly not a good idea. He’d never seen the pigs break traps, or even the spiders, seemingly oblivious to the easy meal. Wilson followed the trail for a short time before it ended. At the trunk of a mighty tree, much larger than most he’d run into, but that should’ve been expected, this seemed like a pretty old forest. The pine needles below were so thick the dirt or maybe grass could not be seen. Claw marks, old and new showed around the trunk, so he could only assume this is where whatever it was lived. Something about this made him want to leave. Maybe it was the way the wind blew through with an almost silent whisper. Or perhaps the more logical, the beast that lurked in this forest. Whatever reason he chose, he left with more than a chill that started to creep up his spine. The rest of the traps were fine, and most had caught something. He returned to camp, relighting the firepit he had set up probably months ago, and started to prepare his food. Even with the amount of practice he had to master skinning a rabbit, it was always a difficult task to not over cut and ruin a perfectly good piece of meat. Wilson never had a sensitive stomach, having used to help his parents with the execution of many of the farm’s poultry. He had to thank his father, albeit begrudgingly for the work he had to endure through his young life. It had made him strong in mind and in body, but the years after had weakened him. All those experiments, all those trial-and-errors, every day was more or less the same but with more interesting results than the last. As he was reminiscing about the past he was slowly getting a creeping feeling. But suddenly, before he could do anything to defend himself he was tackled to the ground, the crude knife he'd been using was knocked out of his hands. A rumbling growl was all he could hear, his head in pain and his eyes stung. He didn't get a chance to open his eyes before whatever creature had jumped off him, scooping the scrap of meat from his hands. Wilson got up suddenly, now meaning business. He reached out blindly to grab whatever it was. Even though it seemed unlikely he had managed to get a grip on it, grabbing it by the scruff and pulling it back with ease. It wasn't very heavy. This wasn't what he was expecting, nor was he expecting it to only be the size of a small child. As his vision returned he discovered the reason. The reason being it was a small child. Baffled beyond belief he watched the fur dressed child cling desperately to the little chunk of meat with the most intense look he'd ever received from a child. This little girl dressing in a wolf's pelt could hardly be taller than 3 foot. Freckles on her face and black hair poked out from the hood which had what looked to had ears. It even came set with a tail, which seemed to move, but Wilson decided it was his imagination, as that was impossible. "This is mine now!" She firmly stated, holding even tighter to the meat. Wilson had no idea what to do about this child, but a little part of him made him think that he couldn't let such a small thing go back out into the wild. The other, larger portion of Wilson wanted to snatch his scrap of rabbit away from her and send her on her way. Wilson did not like children. They were loud, sticky, and overall consumed too many resources to have one tag along. Wilson ground his teeth in thought, a bad habit he was sure to regret one day. Every logical course of action dictated he leave the child to its own fate in the woods, but then again... No. He had no good reason to keep this Child with him. But then it was settled before his logic could catch up with his mouth. "Fine. Keep it. But you'll have to stay here." His brain swore. He was going to regret this.
  15. This is a mod that I wanted for a really long time! I would love to have a Wilson/Percy character to play as! The idea was made a few years back, yet no one made it yet If you don't know what I'm talking about, there is plenty art and such online :3 I would make it myself but I don't know how :/ Thanks a lot ~Faelove (p.s. plz tell me if someone already made it, and that I just didn't see it yet :3)
  16. “After acquiring the knowledge in that accursed exchange, I quickly fetched a clean journal to jot down all I could decipher at the time. However to my growing frustration, most of what I jot down was rather esoteric as I understood the workings rather than the function these strange devices that my mind kept flashing before me. When I was first dragged to this damned place, I was pleased to find that my journal was still safely contained in my vest pocket. As such I try my best to record my findings as I survive. For the sake of my fellow survivors, I’ll be more than happy to share my work in hopes to help us live another day.” ~Wilson P. Higgsbury ((This is a project of mine on my Wilson blog over at Tumblr. I take request subjects for Wilson to write entries on in his journal. I'll be posting all I have currently here shortly. Feel free to send requests either here or to my Tumblr. One thing to note, I can be fairly slow when making new entries, so bare that in mind. I do a first come first serve as well, with 9 entry requests currently pending. I hope you enjoy what I've made so far and what will come in the future.)) Entry 1 - Mandrakes “I discovered a rather odd creature in my travels this evening. With the promise of food I plucked a vegetation I never seen before, but to my surprise it was more than just a docile vegetable but some manner of beast. Thankfully it seemed more interested in entertaining me rather than causing me harm; it continues to sing and dance close by, but seems to be cautious of my presence as it won’t let me get within three feet of it. Regardless, its pleasant to find life that doesn’t seek to end my own. I’ll likely keep the little guy as a pet of sorts and continue my study.” “I’ve changed my mind. I have no interest in learning more of these insufferable creatures. While I applaud their tenacity and determination to their “craft,” this is leaving me on the boarder of insanity. Apparently its song attracted the creature’s friends who all decided to chime in as well and have no respect for a man in desperate need of sleep. I can only assume they are nocturnal by nature. With any luck I’ll slip away at dawn if my hypothesis is true.” Entry 2 - The Hounds “I’m lucky to be alive after my experience this evening. While prototyping a makeshift gunpowder, I began to hear howls in the distance. Several minutes later it ceased and I thought whatever creature it might have been simply moved on. However a few seconds later my camp was ambushed by a pack of vicious hounds; I’ve never seen canines so ferocious before, as well as relentless. Grabbing a torch, I abandoned my camp and ran with them nipping at my heels, but not before one managed to take a bite out of my left arm; scientifically speaking, their maws are that of razors. Eventually I made it to the nearby grasslands. Hearing the slobbering snoring in the darkness, I was struck with an idea. Weaving through the slumbering beefalo, I presumed the beasts chasing me might decide go for a much larger meal; I was correct. The scuffle between the two different colonies was bloody and in the end the herd gored every last hound, and by extension saving my life. I now know that no place or time is truly safe on this island. I need to consider constructing a few defensive measures from future attacks.” ~ “I believe I have discovered the abode of these viscous beasts. While exploring the desert to the north, I discovered a colony of mounds constructed with the bones from a variety of different creatures; I was even able to identify some as human. Keeping my scientific curiosity in check, I kept my distance for the safety of my skin, and thank goodness for that. As a buzzard landed on the top of one of the mounds to scavenge anything left, the pack emerged almost instantly to claim its next meal. I’ll be keeping my explorations away from the desert unless absolutely necessary from now on. One thing leaves me puzzled however: how did these beasts find my camp from miles away? Why stray so far from home when there are plenty of other sources of food in between? Is something else pulling their strings?
  17. I just practice on Don't Starve style. I love this game so much. In picture, Wilson have a dreaming of day without Beefalo Hat between Beefalo in Mating Season. I think you know how end of story. :3 Enjoy and thank you for watching.

  19. Wow, it's been a while. Dang... I'm starting a new tread because my old tread was archived. XD So I'm going post some art I did recently, and then I'm add some stuff I've done in the past later.
  20. I just drew a little picture of Wilson and decided to post it here, I hope you like it!
  21. Ladies and Gentlemen, I would like to learn if it is possible to swap voices between characters in DST and how to do that in the least painful fashion. I want to hear Willow's voice, for instance, and a character uses Wilson's soundset. Is it feasible at all? Thanks in advance for any advice.
  22. Wow, it's been a year since I was last one here! (Well, about a year since I posted something) Thought I'd post some more art on here! Also wow, my old art on here was bad... Requests Open!

  24. So by those that don't know (pretty much most if not all, bless my inability to be so present to the forums) I tend to draw, quite a lot, mostly for art practicing, others to pass the time, and so and so, and of course, being in Don't Starve, I have been drawing that for a while, buuuut there is a thing, I kind of...don't have many ideas to draw other characters THIS is why this topic is here! "oh but what do you mean by that?" WEEEELLL I kind of tend to draw Wilson... A LOT... like... and most of the times, it goes into my own, weird ideas So yeah, does anyone have any situation ideas or just, any random suggestion without I could draw any character that is not, well, Wilson?
