  1. Don't Starve Shipwreck has Rawling, a mysterious ball you can find in far ocean if you explore enough which talks (like Lucy). The best part is you can throw the ball and have fun (+1 sanity)! Playing a ball is totally a Together thing, so it would be so awesome for Wilson to bring his Wilson (ehem, Rawling)* to the Constant, organize his fellow Survivors, and make the surviving a little more enjoyable. Imagine we can even do Volleyball matches or something. * Rawling is Wilson, you know.
  2. Wilson, being a Gentleman Scientist, having experience experimenting with blood and animals etc., should be able to do deal with the Disease situation in DST. Disease in DST is very annoying to deal with properly, and is outright disabled in most megabase Worlds. With Wilson being able to remedy this, Disease as a proper game mechanic will only get stronger. p.s. This is just too on topic for the global situation for it to not happen. p.p.s. Wilson had better healing powers in The Forge; maybe he can do the same for plants, too!
  3. While I have been enjoying the character refreshes and the pacing of the updates in general, someone got me thinking of a little bit of a new way Klei could spice up the pattern. While I eagerly await a Webber refresh, it could be interesting if for one month, instead of going to the next character after a content drop, if Klei took time to refresh archaic mechanics/content. For example, a refresh to farming, ancient guardian, summer, and/or the biome(s) in the caves (although they just need more content in general, kinda like summer, so that’s less of a refresh). Or this could be something that we move on to after the characters are refreshed? Thoughts?
  4. Well, the game is really looking much better with this smooth 60Hz animation and scrolling, but it's quite problematic, that the game decides by itself if the player has got a "fast computer" or not. There should be a option in the settings menue like "computerspeed: fast/slow/automatic". Here's the reason why: I'm running the game on a laptop and the game seems to rate my PC as a "fast computer". This is true in the first place (although "fast" is a bendable definition), but after playing some time the computer is getting really hot (like many laptops/notebooks/netbooks do when gaming) and the processor is automaticly clocked down (done by the hardware, not the OS). Now my computer is actually a "slow computer", which makes the game stumble. Of course, it might be a solution to implement a runtimecheck, if the computer is "still fast", but that would make the game switching back and forth the frame rate or (matter of actual implementation) would make the game running smooth at the beginning and "unsmooth" after a while. So I suggest the already mentioned three state option "computerspeed: fast/slow/automatic" with the default state "automatic", since this would be OK in most cases. Keep on the good work! Don't Starve rocks!
