Hi Guys, i killed two hounds today which dropped hounds tooths.. What is the use for them ? greetings!

Title says it all basically. I want 1 Don't Starve key for Chrome and I'm willing to offer any Steam game within that price range. Why not buying the key myself then? The reason for that is that I don't have access to a credit card or paypal AND I play on mac, which makes it impossible to purchase a key for chrome. However, Steam supports iDeal, which is my normal payment method for online purchases and can be done in a few minutes' worth time. So take a pick ranging between 1 - 20 euro for a Steam game. TL;DR: Add more elements to the game that come to the player and interfere, but unlike hounds in that they're related to what the player is doing, and not simply occuring on a timer. ========= After playing Don't Starve relentlessly for a couple of days, I've noticed that the game doesn't seem to mind much if I just sit in one place and gather the same resources over and over. The experience is less like scavenging or surviving, and more like moving into a new apartment: after a day or two spent figuring out the convenient places to find food and other necessities, my life settles into a state of predictable stability. Should the gameplay of Don't Starve really be about predictability and stability? From browsing the forums, I see that the devs have tried to deal with this, at least where berry farms are concerned. But what about everything else? Most every resource is infinitely renewable, and therefore friendly to hoarding/turtling/lazing about. How about, instead of trying to painstakingly balance the renewability of resources against a skilled player's ability to hoard, make it so there are things in the world that are also roaming about, trying to survive? The hounds are a great step in this direction: they're not really dangerous, but they clue the player in on the fact that other, worse things will be coming for their hoardings. Here are some illustrative examples of what I mean: -Have a lot of gold? Goblins show up to steal it/kill you. -Have a nice fire with some farm plots? Sasquatch evicts you and makes the place his home. -Been cooking a lot of meat lately? Carnivores migrate into the nearby woods, drawn by the smell. It could even be made so that beefalo will exhaust their supply of food and invade your farm, or that pigmen will eventually be overcome with jealousy over your food and demand a share. The point of all this is to present the player with situations that they have to react to, rather than having the player lounge around day after day, without a sense of direction. Anyways, enjoying the game immensely. I wouldn't call it perfect, but it's surely been well worth my $11.99. Thanks!

I bought the game through the humble bundle site, I have installed the chrome web app as I am playing on a mac. I open the app, I click the log in button on the start screen and allow access to my google account in the google popup, but then every time it states "an error has occurred" and returns to the start up screen with the login button now gone. I must refresh to get the log in button back but it does the same thing each time. Haven't even had an opportunity to enter my code yet, and I am really excited to play this game. Anyone got any ideas how to fix this?

Ubuntu 12.10 chrome Version 23.0.1271.95 I go to chrome web store and find dont starve. I get: "This application is not supported on this computer. Installation has been disabled." I enabled Native Client but it did not help ("chrome://flags" from Chrome address bar) How do I install??

If honey production is based on proximitous flowers (as I have read) then shouldn't we be able to plant flowers? It would also help that we could plan ahead to heal by gathering planted petals.

hey cant play dont starve on steam but i tried the demo on chrome and its working but only on chrome -.- so i put 20€ on steam buyed it and cant play it so i want the chrome key if you want to swap it just write an pm to me

Trading dont starve for steam games, not accepting beta keys, dota2 and such.

Steps to reproduce This issue occurred when I was trying to survive... the usual, when all of a sudden the game only shows the yellow straw field! Describe your issue While I was playing randomly the world disappeared into the yellow straw field and now I can't see anything, only hear the music, the tab map makes the sound but no image, the menu doesn't appear and it happens each afternoon! So I can't get passed the day, so it only reloads my earlier save at mourning! I've submitted this bug a while ago, but I didn't get really much of a reply since I'm desperate at the moment. I'm tired of tinkering to get this game to work on Steam. I'd like to trade my spare Steam key to someone generous enough to give me a chrome key, since that seems to work for me. I know the Chrome key allows for steam access as well, but hopefully someone will feel compassionate enough to help out a fellow gamer. Thanks for looking.
