  1. First I want to clarify, I love this character. She's cute, and has a lot of potential. However there are a lot of minor things that hold her back. This is a list of all the problems I have had with Wurt, in hopes that Klei fixes some of these. So naturally this might be a little opinionated. Also this includes some bugs that I may have also found, so some of these things may not apply in the later future. Perks: Wurt overall has pretty good perks. Even though I am not that big of a fan of being vegetarian as it is more of an annoyance than an actual threat, it's fine. My actual problem here lies in with the near useless abilities that she has. Things that include: having a strong grip, being able to spot tentacles, having a pet fish in her inventory to gain sanity, reading books for sanity. Even though some of these (such as reading a book) is cute and adds to a character, it effects the game play, making it so that if a Wurt does decide to read a book, it uses durability. Maybe this feature could be removed, but I think it would be cooler if it was an idle animation. Overall, my problem with the perks isn't that problematic, I would much rather have more interesting and bigger upsides and downsides instead of very minor but plentiful ones. Merm Villages: As a concept, I don't think this is all bad, especially with the addition of Warly, who has some recipes that require fish and frog legs. In terms of food, I still think bunnies would be better, especially as a vegetarian, but I can see the use of having merms. The merm king is amazingly done, he's just extremely well done from a design point, and honestly looks like he came straight out of JoJo's bizarre adventure or something. My only gripe with him is that you have to babysit him or else you lose the buff you get from him, and there is also a glitch right now where every time you gain or lose that buff, whether if its from him dying, or if you enter the caves, your stats get reset back to full. As for the merm houses, they're a bit ugly, but other than that it's fine. The merm guards are extremely annoying, and that's not even for the tentacle spots and boards, since you can give fish to the merm king to have a chance of getting tentacle spots. You have to carry 2 spears on you to craft a single house, which is extremely annoying. Their AI isn't the smartest either, you would expect them to kill pretty much anything except Wurt, other merms, and the merm king on sight, but they only attack if provoked for some reason. I'd be fine with this if it was applied to merms, but not so much the merm guards. Other: Wurt can't trade with the pig king at all. I don't know why they did this, Webber and Wortox can do this perfectly, so why not Wurt? This means quite a few things, that frog legs are near useless to Wurt (assuming they are by themselves), as the player can't eat them, trade them, befriend animals with them, or anything. The most she could do with them is just let them rot and use that for crafting marsh turf, but that doesn't really excuse how half the drops you get from farming merms, one of Wurt's main purposes, can only be used in a way that is worse than things like lichen or lightbulbs. Speaking of the fact that you can't trade with the pig king, this means that Wurt cannot go trick or treating, which was honestly the whole reason I wrote this whole thing. Gold isn't really that big of a deal, it's already somewhat plentiful throughout the world. My problem mostly lies in the fact that Wurt cannot get the shadow piece sketches via giving trinkets to the pig king, and Wurt can't trade the Halloween Trinkets to the pig king, missing out on the event she was introduced in. Like I said, these are all pretty minor inconveniences, but I'd like these to be changed. And knowing that there is almost always an update/updates after a character gets released fixing small inconveniences, these are some of the things that I'd like to see in it.
  2. I want to make a list of know issues and bugs, to provide a) a help for players, and to avoid some of the multiple bug reports. Rules: Post an issue, explain it, if possible, and if there is one, give a solution or workaround. Please dont discuss problems here. If there is enough feedback here, i will edit this post and make some kind of sorting (gamebreaking/crash, cosmetic...) 1.Bug: Bunker doors wont stop meteoroids: Cause: The door is repaired, but not acknowleged as functional. Solution: Open and close the bunker doors when repaired. 2.Bug: Rocket parts are there, allthough the rocket is in space. Cause: The system renders parts not there (mainly on save load). Solution: Ignore it. Its just cosmetic.

Let me tell you a story, where i spent a good 25 days or so, traveling around the world with boat, just to find a gap that seemingly should have been fine it was basically the size of the boat, and apparently it wasnt, so we had spent all of this time trying to get to a gap that had just stopped us in our tracks, its a real shame. Please just let the land to ocean ratio be big enough all around for world gen, waterfalls look nice, but dont work nice!

For instance, standalone on Mac is also possible.* [*]Steam Do you use mods? yes, but only mods that add new characters and doesn't modify vanilla ones, and I wasn't using a mod character Version Number 83854 Issue title Lucy stuck floating in the ar after Woodie transformation. Steps to reproduce I have a feeling this is just somthing with a chance to happen or that happened due to a coincidence and will be hard to reproduce, but here's what I did. Enter Maxwell's door as Woodie, and transform on the first day. Spend two days as a beaver, and transform back. Return to Lucy. When I did so, she was floating above the floor and I couldn't pick her up. Describe your issue I discovered Maxwell's Door as Woodie. On the first day, I chopped enough tree to transform. I went around the land for a couple of days, gnawing up some resources to collect later. I didn't notice if she was floating when I was transformed. When I transformed back, I went a little bit south back to where I transformed at, to find my items laying about as they should be, and Lucy floating higher than Woodie's head. Clicking on her and holding space near her both just left Woodie's sprite twitching furiously under her. She gave occassional dialogue clips as though she were laying about per usual, (and wow some of those are heartbreaking, especially when you're physically inable to pick her up.)
  5. When I press spacebar while next to a finished crockpot, it does not harvest said crockpot. During combat, my character often starts to pick a bush or sapling instead of swinging my spear at the spider RIGHT BEHIND ME. I don't know how my girlfriend can play the game on her laptop. All these problems AND MORE!!! can be yours if you don't fix the buggy unintuitive control scheme you've established. How in the HECK did Wilson know that GOSH DARN tentacle was there ANYWAY?? HUH? HUH CLAY INTERACTIVE?? TELL ME THAT DANG IT!!Anywayz, Please do not rush into some separate control system for the ps4 right off the bat, fix the PC version's control scheme first so the mouse is more optional and spacebar acts smarter (I don;t care how you figure out ranged target selection without a mouse JUST DO IT). I know I'm not gonna get an overhaul to the control system, but if the interface/controls are better on ps4 I will try to return my game. Not because I plan to switch to the ps4 version, but because pc gamers are always getting the short end of the developer after paying him. We made you the success you are, don't hand a better game to someone who payed you a lot less money just because you've already tapped out the PC market. Don't do my like that klei, don't do me like that.
