Improves the information shown in game crashes by displaying information about the entity that triggered it. Disclaimer: This mod is primarily meant for other modders. While its use is simple (since it simply needs to be enabled) and the information it presents might help tracking down the cause of bugs even in vanilla Don't Starve, the discussion below, explaining what the presented information means, assumes some level of familiarity with the inner workings of Don't Starve. Whenever a crash occurs, this mod will attempt to find the entity "responsible" for it and show a set of information about it, in order to help to track down the root cause of the issue. Scenarios where the entity is found include crashes triggered within prefab files, components, stategraphs and brains*. The following information about the entity is shown: Its number (its GUID) and its prefab name; Its variable name, within the function that triggered the crash (this may be an "indirect" variable name, such as self.inst); Whether the entity is valid; Whether the entity is in limbo (i.e., whether it was removed from the scene); Whether it's asleep (in the sense that it is not active); How long it's been alive (i.e., how long it has been since it was spawned, noting that reloading a save respawns all entities); Its position (as world coordinates); Its distance to the player. In the error screen, the entity information is presented on the right of the stack trace (hence dividing the usual text region into two columns). See the attached screenshot for an example (obtained by replicating this bug with the mod enabled). In the same example, the following is printed in log.txt: Note that, unfortunately, usage of this mod causes two "LUA ERROR stack traceback" blocks to be printed per error (the second being a "continuation" of the first). This happens because for the mod to work it needs to catch an error and then rethrow it. * The general condition is the following: the mod takes a look at the first parameter passed to the function that caused the crash (the "self" parameter, if any, counts as the first); if this parameter is an entity, this entity's information is displayed; otherwise, if this parameter is a table with an entity stored in its "inst" field, this entity's information is displayed. This convention is adopted because most (all?) function in the Don't Starve code that operate on an entity either receive that entity as its first argument, or receive a "self" first parameter which stores the entity in self.inst.

A while a go I made a lil' video of how I draw. In it, I drew a picture of Maxwell with make-up, and a pal of mine thought it would make a great mod. What it does: Maxwell (NPC and player) wears pink lipstick, purple eye-liner, and blush. My Better Maxwell mod is included free, so he'll look more like the NPC. Shadow Puppets are purple with big, lip-stick smiles and heavy blush. and some eye-liner. Maxwell's bigportrait also has make-up. Maxwell's menu quote, description, and title are changed.

This mod makes armor last forever. Removes all debuffs like the 30% slower movement speed when wearing the Marble Suit or the sanity drain of Night Armour. The Thulecite Suit now absorbs 95% of physical damage instead of 90% cause crafting it was kinda unnecessary if you already had a marble suit or a Night Armour. This mod includes: -Grass Suit -Log Suit -Marble Suit -Thulecite Suit -Night Armour -Snurtle Shell Armor -Football Helmet -Shelmet -Thulecite Crown -Beekeeper Hat

Features: A Completed Teleportato will make the fog of war on your map disappear so you can see everything on the map. (You do not have to activate it just assemble it and once it looks like this your map will be revealed) I made this mod cause I thought the Teleportato could have a use for those not wanting to leave their worlds this way there is a reason to assemble it. Fortunately if you decide to disable this mod your map will go back to only showing what you have discovered. This mod has now been fully tested and I am confident that it works without problems. SCREENSHOT: http://i.imgur.com/uNo3wa3.jpg Discuss: Any tips or suggestions are welcome and appreciated but go easy on me, A n00b I am. You can talk to me about the mod, tell me how much you like it, or just say hi below. Also ratings do make me happy, especially the 5 star variety. Incompatible with: ---------- For now anything that overwrites teleportato.lua but I will try to improve that... maybe. Changelog/older versions: v1.2 [Hunger Update]: made to work for Hunger Update. v1.1 [Powers update]: made to work for powers update, given all the powers mod menu thingys. v1.0 [Rock update]: made to work for ROCK update v0.1 [Cave & LIVE update] test release. Hey, you know about the Night Light? Yea me neither, why would you ever make something so useless amirite? Well not anymore! No longer waste any precious nightmare fuel, this brand new Night Light uses patent pending Cthulhuian technology to rip the nightmares right out of your head! Features: Night Light is now an infinite light source similar to Maxwell's light, but the more insane you are the brighter it is. Warning at full sanity the small flame from the Night Light will NOT protect you from Charlie the night monster. You have to be at about 140/150 to be safe, though that will not give you much room to work with. Wearing the Nightmare Amulet will create a max flame size, but be careful if better_sanity_drain option is true as it is by default because Night Lights will drain your sanity quite fast and you can't see the effects of sanity drain in your sanity meter while wearing the Nightmare Amulet. The Night Light can be turned off and on by right clicking on it. By default it will always remember if you turned it off, but a Config option is avalibe to set it to always turn back on once you come close to it again. The sanity drain from the Night Light is now based on the flame sized, the bigger it is the more it will drain. In vanilla you would have to be touching the Night Light for it to effect you at all. Now it has a larger radius but standing farther away lessens the drain. By default at max flame size while touching the Night Light it will drain 20 sanity per minute, that number and setting it to work as it does in vanilla are both configurable.Config: The file called modmain.lua can be found in <your don't starve folder>modsFueledByMadness Default Configurations: ----Config-----local turn_back_on_when_close = false --If false NightLights stay off until you turn them on, if true they will automatically turn back on when once you leave and come close to them again.local better_sanity_drain = true --If true sanity drain is now drains more the bigger the flame, and the area of effect is larger, though the further away you are standing to the NightLight the less the drain.local custom_sanity_drain = 20 --sanity drain per minute when at max fuel while standing very close to the NightLight, only used if better_sanity_drain is true. Zero is an option.local enable_custom_recipe = false --setting to true will use the recipe out-lined in custom_recipe, it will also put the Night Light at the bottom of the magic tab fyi.local custom_recipe = {Ingredient("goldnugget", 8), Ingredient("nightmarefuel", 2),Ingredient("redgem", 1)} --example of the default recipe--------------- Discuss: Any tips or suggestions are welcome and appreciated but go easy on me, A n00b I am. This is an OP version of the original Equivalent exchange, by Nudel. The credit all goes to him for his fantastic work! His mod was my favourite by far. What this mod does is adds a bigger variety of things to duplicate, which includes foods, which is severely OP. I prefer Nudels work to mine, but i just posted this for those who wanted it. Here is a list: Berries, Carrots, Corn, Dragonfruit, Durian, Eggplant, Fish, Frog Legs, Honey, Koalefant_summer, Koalefant_winter, Fleshy Bulb Meat, Mandrake, Meat, Monster Meat, Morsel, Pomegranate, Pumpkin, Spider Glands, Tall Bird Eggs, Deerclops Eyeball, Honey Poultice, Beard Hair, Butter, Butterfly Wings, Charcoal, Bird Eggs, Rotten Eggs, Guano, Gunpowder, Healing Salve, Heat Stone, Beefalo Horn, Lightbulb, Bunnyman Tail, Big Jerky, Monster Jerky, Small Jerky, Drumsticks, Batwings, The Three Coloured Mushrooms, Normal And Dark Petals, and so much more. You can edit this in the modmain, you can also add items from other mods to the list, and give them a value. Enjoy! REMEMBER: This is NOT my mod, all credit goes to Nudel, the original creator. I just created this mod for people who struggle with this game, as it makes it a lot easier. :

Based on this thread, I decided to write a version of require() for mods. The use() function works just like require(), but looks for files taking the (root) mod directory as a base and runs them inside the mod environment. Feel free to just drop use.lua into your mods. Below is some documentation on its behaviour, and I attached a simple sample mod ("usage") to show how to use it in practice. Basic usage: Advanced usage: Why "use" and not "modrequire"?

I always found it a pain to get and fuel the old lantern. I've only ever had the lucky cave with tons of light bulbs right at the entrance once, really. It all depends on the map you get. This Brass lantern can be obtained without traveling to those confusing caves, and can even be a great way TO explore caves! It uses burnable items as fuel, emits slightly less light, and burns through fuel twice as fast as the normal lantern. I'll also probably fix up the textures sometime soon. Like today. In the next few minutes, possibly. If you're wondering, the character(s) in the screenshots are of my character and deceased cat. Still need to do new textures for my character at some point. Anyways...(ahem) hope you enjoy the mod!

Features: This mod lets you equip the compass to your hand, and while it is in your hand it makes the fog of war on your map disappear so you can see everything, unequipping it hides the map again but everything you have explored is still visible.
