PUPPETEER: Master of the puppets, this creature is awaiting for your arrival in his mansion, prepare for battle! PUPPET: Wooden living puppets that are controlled by a mysterious force, if you can only know how to make them... maybe their master know how... MIMIC: Dreadful creature that sneaks their prey (you) by using mimicry of a berry bush, watch out! GROSS: Made with manure and rot, this thing works as fuel, as ferilizer and somehow, fungus love this.     This is a speech template compatible with DS (with or without RoG) and DST. Remember to rename the file! You can set the speech file using: STRINGS.CHARACTERS.CHARNAME = require "speech_charname" Pro Tip: You can "comment" specific lines "out" by putting -- before them. You can also comment several lines out by putting --[[ before and ]] after them. I assembled this in less that 15 minutes, so it's likely there's some redundant strings left (as in, the same key being set twice). Don't blame me, should that be the case, I just copied Wilson's file from Together and ran a simple script over it to empty the quotations.

    This mod completely changes how you fight combats in Don't Starve, by replacing them with RPG inspired turn based encounters! So slay monsters, gain experience, and find a way to escape the world in which Maxwell has trapped you! You're going to need some help though, so be sure to search far and wide for the soul gems of long dead heroes. The spirits of these ancient warriors, trapped within their crystalline prisons, will lend you power and extraordinary skills in combat. Equipping different soul gems will change how you approach a fight. Maxwell's minions have also captured some of your closest friends. Free them, and they will join you in your quest to escape! This mod has been a real labour of love, undertaken on and off over the period of a whole year. I'd like to really thank some people that help me make this mod a reality: @Vivalavie and @UltimaZix for lending their lovely art to the mod, which has jazzed up its appearance to no end, and @Mobbstar and @ImDaMisterL for the many hours they spent helping me catch many nasty bugs Thanks guys! Please note, that this mod currently only works for vanilla Don't Starve; RoG is not supported. It is recommended that this mod is played without any other mods running as the changes to the base mechanics of game are extensive and compatibility can not be assured. A new game must also be started for this mod to take effect. Additionally, this mod is in beta! There may still be some bugs lurking around. If you can send me a detailed report on any bugs encountered, that would be awesome. But for now, enjoy! ----------------------------------------------------------------- A quick explanation of the mod's configuration options - Difficulty: Changes the difficulty of the mod by altering the strength of monsters and their ability to make intelligent decisions in combat. - Regenerating health: the player regenerates health over time (100 HP per game day) - Hardcore mode: when on, if you are defeated in battle, the game is lost and the save file deleted. When off, if defeated, the game is reloaded from the last save point. - Random encounters: the time of day that random encounters can occur. - Encounter frequency: how often random encounters occur.

    Fear core: -Equip it and “attack” enemies with it to scare them away for 5 seconds. Angered neutral enemies will become passive again after running away. (including boss monsters) -“feeds” off of their fear to regain 7 health. -costs 15 sanity, and has a 20 second cooldown. -cannot be removed from inventory, but remains in your inventory if you die and respawn. -cannot be used on smaller innocent creatures like rabbits and birds because kajis such a softie. Panic roar: -activates automatically when health goes below 30 -scares off all monsters on screen for 8 seconds, also un-agros’ them. (hound packs will run away and won’t come back) -disables all non-mobile enemies for 8 seconds (tentacles and eye plants) -invincibility while roaring -cannot be activated again until you return to good health (must be above 110 hp and 75 sanity) Chubby and higher metabolism: -Gets hungry 15% faster because of his infrequent use of his core. Or something like that. Don’t quote me on that one. -This makes him chubby, and he has a natural insulation value of + 45. (slightly less than the lowest tier winter clothing) Good with maps: -Is a cartographer, and has a larger map view radius. (note: this feature still has some bugs. The extra map revealed is hidden once saving and re-opening. If it bothers you, you can disable map vision in the mod config menu.) Terrified of water: -quickly loses sanity near ponds and oceans. -cannot use, or equip, fishing poles. -And a few other fun easter eggs. Compatible with regular Don’t starve and RoG! (but not DST) The character Kaji belongs to Venoshade, and this mod was made with their permission.

    This mod introduces guide books to the world of Don't Starve, which is focusing on mod support though. Those guides can spawn at the starting point of a world, somewhere along a road, or by custom means (starting inventory, event, setpiece, etc.) The books have text or images with or without headers spread across a virtually unlimited amount of pages. To navigate that many pages, there's the option to make a Table of Contents (index page). Using this mod helps you understand the core principles of the game and bigger mods, such as Industrial Resolution (where the idea originates from)! But why stop there? This mod is perfectly capable of making interactively expanding guides, and the Table of Contents also serves as spellbook! Your RAM is the limit! If you want to make a tome of knowledge for your own mod, check out the readme.txt in the main folder! The six base tomes will help you troubleshooting, and I will too if it's necessary.     Felix the Cat Character Mod! Featuring Felix the Cat, a funny animal cartoon character created in the silent film era. The anthropomorphic black cat with his black body, white eyes, and giant grin, coupled with the surrealism of the situations in which his cartoons place him, combine to make Felix one of the most recognized cartoon characters in film history. Felix was the first character from animation to attain a level of popularity sufficient to draw movie audiences. Felix is a scaredy-cat so he runs fast and has lower sanity but a faster sanity regeneration, he also is affected more by night and scary monsters due to this! In my next update I'm hoping to have custom sounds and dialogue for him. I am also working on adding a magic bag for him so check back! This is my first mod so there are still many bugs with Felix. Notably, there are many facial expressions that I couldn't figure out what they were for. They will have a big red number on them when they pop up in the game. If you see any of them please, PM me with the number and what was happening to Felix at that time so I can fix it. Also, if you notice anything else that glitches or is broken, let me know!

    It's a character mod for Woodoo, the witch doctor. His stats are: Health: 150 Hunger: 150 Sanity: 120 (Like Willow) And he does 0.8x damage -He's got friends on the other side (When his sanity drops below 60 he turns into his insane mode, and has 1.2x dmg, and doesn't need a science machine) -Grows a glorious moustache (Gives some insulation, and when shaved - beard hair) -Brings his own hat (He starts with his Voodoo Hat which lowers his sanity, and gives a little bit of insulation) -Has a custom minimap icon, and it changes when he goes insane -His Voodoo Hat has a minimap icon -Custom speech files -Wolfgang's sounds -Vanilla (Woodoo_Vanilla.zip), RoG (Woodoo_RoG.zip) and DST (Woodoo_DST.zip) compatible. -I've tried to balance him out as much as possible, if you people don't think he's balanced enough, tell me, and give me suggestions on how should I do it (eg. lower his health, hunger...) -I've been working hard on making Woodoo fit in with the game, and I've busted my balls with the art. If you don't like it, or you think it doesn't fit in that well, report it to me, and tell me what could I have done differently. -Report any graphical glitches, please, they will be fixed. To do list: -I want to make the profile picture look nicer -Make custom sound files -Make graphics for when struck by lightning

    Feats for you to achieve! This mod adds Feats (you may know them as Achievements!) to Don't Starve. The list of feats can be viewed in the feats screen, by clicking the "Feats" button next to the "Morgue" button when loading a save game. Feats can also be viewed in-game, via the Accomplishment Shrine. The mod is currently a work in progress. There are currently a handful of achievements, but I plan on adding a handful of new achievements on a weekly basis. Challenges completed before installing Feats will not register, and will have to be redone to trigger an achievement. Feel free to suggest new feats! Like all my other characters, Suggestions and feedback and heavily welcomed! Problems -Try not to change into Ball form while in Ghost form. Makes you invisible. I'll see what I can do.
