  1. Sometimes, when entering the fog at the edge of the world, the character loops around to the far side of the world and then immediately, without re-enabling on-screen controls and therefore without the player having any ability to interrupt this cycle, re-enters the fog and reappears in their original location, minus some sanity and plus some wetness. I thought at first that I was somehow mis-tapping to sent the character back, but it happens a lot and I have carefully tried all sorts of ways to move without being able to do anything. When I use the on-screen virtual stick, it does not appear until the double fog is done. A couple of times I've actually gotten stuck in a loop going back and forth through the fog without any end and had to force-close the game to exit. Sometimes this doesn't happen, though, and I'm not sure what the difference is.
  2. If bottlenose ballphins are following you when you enter the volcano, they will accompany you up there and swim around in the ground. It's great for dragoon hunting but bad for feeling like the game isn't buggy....
  3. So there doesn't seem to be a place in the bug tracker to report this which does not fill me with confidence, but eh, might as well try! In the iOS app Don't Starve, the Virtual Stick does not block interactions with the objects behind it. However, in the Don't Starve Shipwrecked app, it does block, so touching the stick control does not cause any other action to occur -- the Shipwrecked behavior is the desired behavior. For example, if you are in a dense forest at night and you are holding a torch as you run from spider -- a scenario we've all experienced, I'm sure -- if you let go of the stick control (say, to craft another torch) you can end up being unable to move again! You can get trapped in a cycle where you try to touch the stick control to begin moving, but underneath the stick is a flammable tree, and pressing on a flammable object while holding a torch opens a context menu to examine the object or light it on fire, and opening a context menu closes the stick control until a menu option is chosen, so your options become: stand stoic as you are eaten by spiders, unequip your torch so you can be sucker-punched by Charlie, or set everything on fire and laugh as it burns.
  4. The action button for grabbing does not harvest fish from a nearby fish farm. You have to tap on the fish farm to interact with it.
  5. Swapping a stack of items for an item already placed in a crockpot slot will result in all but one of the stack disappearing. (see steps to reproduce) Might be related to the icebox swap bug from back in 2016, which I can confirm still exists in iOS Shipwrecked.
  6. All of the Home Sea Home new items get described as "It's a...thing" by Walani and WX-78 -- possibly others, but those are the two characters I've tried so far. This includes: tar, tar slicks, tar extractors, ballphin palaces, fish farms, sea yards, sea labs, sea chests, and probably more. Descriptions of older Shipwrecked-specific items such as machetes, coconuts, row boats, etc. are still fine.
  7. It might be building any structure in a cave cleft -- it's happening to me too with a crockpot and a firepit.
  8. If you die from being hit by a rock from a volcanic eruption or by being bit by a mosquito (look, I was down to 2 hp and heading towards safety, okay?) your cause of death in the morgue is only "shenanigans".
  9. I've got this too: This is chapter 2, Game is Afoot, in the peninsula behind the clockwork bridge. I think I also saw a Sunken Boat with flotsam in the previous chapter (Cold Reception), but I was in a hurry and didn't screenshot it. Also, my chapter loading screens are showing the Shipwrecked world gen animation, not the regular one. Platform: PC (Steam) Version: 181319 World: RoG with Shipwrecked compatibility turned on
  10. My Shipwrecked game crashed several times today, and when I looked in the log file I saw many, many instances of this: Stale Component Reference: GUID 241031, @C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/dont_starve/data/scripts/components/moisturelistener.lua:111 Stale Component Reference: GUID 241032, @C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/dont_starve/data/scripts/components/moisturelistener.lua:111 Stale Component Reference: GUID 241054, @C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/dont_starve/data/scripts/components/moisturelistener.lua:111 When I checked my C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/dont_starve/data/scripts/components folder, I saw no file named moisturelistener.lua at all. (I don't actually know if this is related to the crashes or not. The file is definitely not there regardless of whether it causes the crash, though.) log.txt
