  1. New preview branch implements some new recreation methods to get more Morale. Some of which are pretty neat as they're rather unique, like sunbathing, saunas, juicers, etc. Adds some depth to a having good Dupe life. The issue though is that ... what do we do with this much Morale? There's not that many Skills a Duplicant needs so that it gives them high morale reqs to even bother with a fraction of all these recreation devices, and still have more Morale than they need. New update adds Overjoyed reactions but I fail to see how this aids the idea for the Morale system of better Skill-learning = Need better recreation and morale stuffs I think there should be more Skills to learn that gives different traits and stats, that of course add a lot of Morale expectations so we have a lategame Morale-dump. Maybe "Master Miner/Architect" that adds +1 digging/building range. Eco-Jetpak pilot which makes them consume less petroleum when using jetpaks? Or miscellaneous Skills like giving longer social stress reductions to those they meet.

    They're already very niche, and Lettuce is an optional ingredient. Though adding more methods would be nice, it's just that Squeaky pufts should be really efficient while the machine churns it out while maybe letting out a byproduct, like hydrogen from processing something else. Just when Squeaky pufts thought they would get used again, people complain about it.

  8. A bug has happend where one Duplicant has the "Lit Workspace" buff but is standing in an area that is zero lux. The buff doesnt say "Expires in X time" or anything, so this isn't intentional, right?
  9. Beasts all over the shop.. you'll be one sooner or later..
  10. Sour gas when in the world is purple, easy to distinct from other gasses, but when it is in a gas-pipe its different. All other gasses got a color when looking in the gas-piping overlay, but Sour gas is just white, like the pipes themselves, making it impossible to tell if there's 1000g in a pipe, or if its 50mcg. It should be purple.

    Look at ONI and look at the real world, there's only so many things that can be called "realistic" in this game. Don't let that restrict the games balance. It would make diseases a bit more difficult to handle, so if you manage to make Food poisoning airborne it would still be dangerous, and not literally just be good because it cancels other bacterias in the same tile. There could of course be a modifier that food poisoning is 50% less likely to infect when inhaled, and slimelung 50% less likely to infect when eaten. To keep the respective roles of said diseases .

    If Floral Scents are supposed to be "Pollen", I hope all decorative plants(Maybe there's one exception), plus Bristle Blossom cause it. To create some equality between the different plants. Perhaps the zombie bacteria could also spawn during blooming of Dusk Caps to balance it out a bit too? Dusk Caps are pretty cheap for what they are One thing I've been wanting is that you can get sick from any shape the bacteria is ingested. Such as Slimelung being eaten still causes slimelung, or Food poisoning being inhaled can cause Food poisoning.

I'm surprised the QoL updates doesn't do more balance changes, that'd be the least they could do because, while quality of life and bug fixing is nice in the long run, there should be more balance changes, so some things changes up at least without needing to add more content, I'm looking at you, Hydrofan. The To-Do list is also really nice, lets you spot more "Colony flaws" in things like, too many Chores assigned.
  16. Printing eggs are nice, so having all of them go extinct because you didnt have time to care isnt as much of a thing anymore
  17. It’d be so cool if there was a ”Therapist” job that could give ”Comforted” to stressed Dupes to calm them down.
  18. Mind that this is a world that has been moved from Stable to Preview, so that may have caused an issue. I had a save that is around 700 cycles in, and I launched my first Steam rocket. Satisfied as I was, I saved and shut down the game to take a break. But when I went back to start it again, the game just crashes, a blackhole ate it. Every single time. Now, the saves the cycle before the rocket launch can be played perfectly fine, but the saves with the flying rocket does not work.
  19. The three new ambient musics are very Factorio esque.. love it Old saves being laggy in previews is something that isn't news. The devs missed an oppurtunity to call this 'Not-so Spring Cleaning upgrade Mk1'

    Cargobays return elements with their default temperatures? Oho, does that mean that the Ice from the ice planet will be an impressive -160*c? Because theres also solid methane there
  23. After playing around a little, I can get materials from the Carbon Asteroid just fine. However, if I bring a Cargo Bay to the Iceplanet, the ship returns with absolutely nothing. This could be because the Ice melts? No? That shouldn't be it. Right? I just hope it gets fixed because it seems like a bug because it claims that you need a Cargo Bay for Ice. It has happend twice and its the same issue.
  24. Neat update, I guess its now we're entering the final stages of the game.. which I find kind of sad. Both glad and upset that they nerfed burning Petroleum this hard. In my opinion, Petroleum should be like boiling Polluted Water, a part of it turns into Steam, and the other into Polluted dirt. If boiled Petroleum turns part into usable Natural gas, and the rest into a 'smog' gas which has pretty poor thermal capacities and cannot be used for anything at all, except for being solidified or liquified I guess. Boiling Crude Oil should still be more efficient than using Petroleum Generators because of the extra effort you do. This makes it so that you end up with an annoying side-product you have to deal with, worse than carbon dioxide and polluted water, so you have to throw it into space. We've been nerfed in terms of power in many ways now, no Fertilizer makers, no boiling oil, Nat-gas makers nerfed as a whole (But we have this Space Cow I guess), the Steam Turbine should be revamped so you dont have to use annoying amounts of cheese to make it work halfly. Because trust me, that is what people do. Or give us a High-temperature Pump or some sort of way to move Hot gas/liquid without using Airlocks to move the scalding gas around for reheating.

    I am fairly sure that Cosmic Update added some nifty stuff like Glass forges, Steel an Solar Panels and a space to remove stuff forever. Ranching adds many different ways to recycle things and a sort of 'Build up your' special variants. But I do agree, a purely Industrial update is something we've been needing for a while.
