  1. You've been helpful, thanks!
  2. My mistake, that message is a red herring too. I've updated my original instructions.
  3. The game should run if the current working directory is the same as the executable. The message about being unable to preload the .so file is a red herring, the sound should work even with that message present. The error in your case above is related to the game not being able to find the 'OxygenNotIncluded_Data' directory in the current working directory.
  4. Could you also try running the game outside of steam using the following command? SteamAppId=457140 ~/.steam/steam/steamapps/common/OxygenNotIncluded/OxygenNotIncluded
  5. @moonheart08 Which distro are you using? Could you run the game again, confirm there is no sound, and post the contents of ~/.config/unity3d/Klei/Oxygen Not Included/Player.log here?
  6. Crash to desktop

Could you try playing the game on a development build, and send us the log after a crash? To switch to the development build, follow these steps: - In Steam, click on Library > Games. - Scroll down to Oxygen Not Included. - Right-click and select Properties. - Go to the BETAS tab. - Enter the beta access code: oXpj7vL513RlrNkkMzSR into the text field and click 'CHECK CODE' - In the dropdown, select 'development_public' - In that same Properties window, go to the Local Files tab and press "Verify Integrity Of Game Cache." - Launch and play Oxygen Not Included The development build may run slower than the regular build, so after you've sent us a log, to switch back to the regular release build, follow these steps: - In Steam, click on Library > Games. - Scroll down to Oxygen Not Included. - Right-click and select Properties. - Go to the BETAS tab. - In the dropdown, select 'NONE - Opt out of all beta programs' - In that same Properties window, go to the Local Files tab and press "Verify Integrity Of Game Cache."
  7. Could you try this in the current build, and let me know if it's fixed?
  8. Linux -- Thermal Overlay Colors

The liquid bumps will be fixed in an upcoming build.
  9. The next time you run into this crash, could you send us the file located at: /Users/<your username>/Library/Logs/Unity/Player.log ?
  10. Linux -- Thermal Overlay Colors

We have a potential fix for this in our next build, which is scheduled to be released this Thursday. If you'd like to test it a bit early, you can switch to our preview branch by following the instructions here: https://forums.kleientertainment.com/topic/85205-tubular-upgrade-preview-and-holiday-break/ . Please note that if you switch to this branch, your saved games will become unplayable on the released version of the game until it is updated this Thursday. The preview branch is also somewhat slower than the release version of the game as it is a debug build of the game. Whether you update to the preview branch, or wait for the Thursday update, could you please let us know if you still experience the issue in the new version of the game?
