  1. Oh, this is an interesting idea, thanks for posting it. [suggestion] just an idea, how about the option to get a 'randomized' Metabolisim, so it may be good, or bad, just like an RPG game? And I haven't tried this mod yet, but is it possible to 'see' what your current Mtbm/rate is?
  2. "2 cores I believe" ... it's an i7. They are a 4core with hyperthreading (the 4 cores split into 2 each and act like an 8 core) I'm a comuter tech, and it just bugged me, so I wanted to let you know. I could say more, but I shall refrain from my NerdRage.

    Puts it back where it came from! +++++++++++++++++++++++ Upon picking up a trap: *If a trap is empty, it will go into inventory. *If a trap has an animal, it retraps the same spot, without going back into your inventory +++++++++++++++++++++++ I fully intend only to release mods that I consider balanced, that don't make game play easier - read 'cheating' , or to fix what I perceive to be as issues or bugs that need addressing. I have a few ideas in mind. This is one of them. I need to give the utmost thanks to my new friend DevilXD who I met on the Klei forums; who created this mod for me to learn from! +++++++++++++++++++++++ If traps are empty when picked up, they act as normal. If traps are full (have a catch) when picked up, they automatically put the object in your inventory and resets the trap to where you had it This idea came from one of my trap farms. I got tired of ending up with traps in my hand inventory and rabbits in my hand that I then had to swap out to deal with. Vanilla / RoG compatible. +++++++++++ Also Download From The Steam Workshop
  4. ^^ @StayUpThere Well, I feel that you should have read the prior posts. It's a polite courtesy to do so. I know that I would feel put out if someone butted into a conversation, without having all the facts, and passed a comment or a judgement based on the subject material without having any foreknowledge of the conversations' context. In this case, what makes it even worse, is that it seems that what you have stated appears to be incorrect. Microsoft Changed their Policy regarding Indie Releases over 12 months ago, meaning that indie's can effectively self-publish on the XBox One, refer to this article for more information. More likely it would have to do with M$'s policy that all games released on the X1 are required to check in online regularly. But that's not really the reason, either.... as has already been stated, the real reason is that Klei has signed an exclusive deal with Sony
  5. Agreed. Necro. BUT SHUT UP ABOUT IT ALREADY Necro'ing old threads is FINE. It's what old threads are FOR. It's so that new people can learn FROM THE PAST SO GET OVER IT. It's a better approach than creating a new thread for an already existing topic. It shows that the 'Necromancer' has used the SEARCH function on the site before they used the "Post New Thread" one. So good on you for that. It's just a pity that @ByzantiumTheInfamous Necro'd a thread to tell us that our code was wrong, when I'm pretty sure it's right. Anyway, there are easier ways to bring up the map. Map Revealer Mini Tools Map revelation seems like cheating yourself of the whole point of this game (Exploration, Discovery, and Survival) to me, unless it is for modding and testing purposes.

  8. So that everyone knows, this was actually 'my' mod, DevilXD has helped me build it and has uploaded it here. He did so much of the work on this, I felt that he deserved the credit for the Mod. Basically, it was just my idea. I have uploaded the same file in the Steam Workshop
  9. Hey, Mouse. I wanted to stop by to let you knjow that I tried it, it wasn't really for me. I think the deal breaker was how much ist shows the Nightmares up even when they are normally un noticable when at 90% sanity. No disrespect to you or your work. Just not for me. Oh, and I think Player Rainbow should be a configurable option I don't know if charlie has a player model, but it would be epic if this lit her up.
  10. Love it. Mod is awesome, too. Clean, simple, balanced. not like 1000 (OK, about 384) other mods designed to make the game easier. Probably works with RPG HUD, because they don't touch the original icons. but they already got lots of cluttered numbers. So now one could Clutter it up even more, with doubleups! aawesome! {was going for funny irony - sounds weird and sarcastic on paper}. I use StatusPlus, I think this might break that one, as Status removes the icons. i might try this one in it's place, as i prefer the idea of "as close to vanilla as possible". I look to mods for more bug-fix type stuff, personally. Well done, @Mouse.
  11. Hey, DevilXD Wilst I was waiting for you to reply to my PM, I saw this, and then realized that it was yours! Too funny. I have another idea for population control for a mod, and it should be easy to implement; make their spawn point a visible/destroyable structure, like the Bone Mounds for Hounds, or Beehives for Bees.
  12. Hey, Hi! Yeah, I've read that on the Wiki, too - I should have probably put those in my own post, and clarified that those were things that I have found to be more true. When I build a tight, condensed base with wall around it, he comes. When I build a sprawled out base with no walls, he does not. It may be a coincidence, I do only have a couple of hundred hours under my belt. (ignore my Steam profile, I only got it on Steam a couple of days ago). Wow, reading over my old post, I feel like one of those guys that just blabs whatever misinformation that I feel is true, vs ""whatnever ain't no truetrue" (Movie reference to Cloud Atlas).I'm usually the guy that does the straightening out! I must have been tired or something....
  13. The trick to spawning a Deerclops is to build lots of structures, then stay near them during winter. Each wall segment counts as a structure. I may be wrong (I haven't looked at the code) but the more established my bases are, the more likely he will "visit". I like the hound shooter, i just don't like that they are a finite resource. (sad sadness face)

  16. Oh Thank You. I would PAY for this mod. got paypal? I'll buy you a beer. I'll buy you another one if you make a mod that allows you to drag a line to plant something, such as trees, grass, walls. I have no idea how to mod, or I so would do this. I saw an interesting mod that enables you to plant stuff by clicking a lightningrod, so the rod saves all your stuff from lightning, but it autoplants in a cropcircle.   17. Hey, just curious, really - Is there a percentage chance of different foods falling, or is it purely random from the foods catogory? Also, does it include "monster" foods. ==>You may even wish to add these Questions, and their Answers, to the FAQ (Seeing as they are the only valid Q's you've had on this mod thus far)
  18. Wow. Just Wow. So, I'm pretty new to DS, I only last about 50-100 days (128 is my best). This is just epic. I see a few people having issues - bug logs, etc - but props to the Modder on creating a truely hateful world.
