  1. day 90: still cant apply skills through any kind of debug mode
  2. Clockwork Rook Damage Bug

i'd imagine being hit by a hunk of metal running towards me would do slightly more damage than being hit by a hunk of meat
  3. [Game Update] - 348553

I'm so dead....I have to like, think of how to do EVERYTHING differently
  4. welp, my save is dead.
  5. Critters don't jump at all from either boat or to land, they stay whereever they are until they're warped to you somehow.
  6. each guide that I can see for implementing modded worldgen or new modded biomes is one thats seemingly outdated. (it was posted in 2014 or something like that.) Does anyone have a new guide for doing that type of thing?
  7. Say i wanted to replace all deciduous trees with, another modded in tree, by the name of "saptree". Would there be an easy way to do this?
  8. hamlet dst skin is wormwood?

so you're dissappointed about getting wormwood rather than a dinky pighouse skin because other people can get it without having to buy hamlet? thats incredibly petty
  9. hamlet dst skin is wormwood?

    (or use spools in dst)
  10. one time i was hanging out in my small sea outpost (sea chiminea, a few boat chests, sea yard, and tar extractor) as a resting place so i could explore more of the world, and in the middle of the night a dog fish and the tigershark zoom past and tigershark in attempting to bite the dogfish bites my surfboard and i am immediately dead.
  11. hamlet dst skin is wormwood?

"you do not get it for free. but you do get it for free. but you do not get it for free." the only possible thing i can derive from this jumble of words is that you're mad that people who don't own hamlet can choose to buy wormwood on his own instead of having to buy don't starve and then hamlet just to get one character???? do you realize how ridiculous that sounds???????
  12. when i just did the second one in my modmain, this happened. no deciduous trees (the prefab i was replacing) spawned, nor did saptrees spawn. Am I missing something in the execution of the second on other than just AddPrefabPostInit("deciduoustree", function(inst) if not GLOBAL.TheWorld.ismastersim then return end GLOBAL.SpawnPrefab("saptree").Transform:SetPosition(inst.Transform:GetWorldPosition()) inst:Remove() end) ?
  13. hamlet dst skin is wormwood?

its almost as if we got like....an entire character...for free....for getting hamlet...with their own items.....whoa....
  14. hamlet dst skin is wormwood?

do some of you guys wake up in the morning and say "hmm today i will be dissappointed about how we got more content than expected" because it sure seems like that sometimes, like now
  15. thank god he's near exactly the same except for some QOL things. Good job klei!
  16. Positive sides of Hamlet

you say "positive sides of hamlet" as if hamlet is more bad than good and we have to look on the bright side for hamlet nearly all of hamlet fits a style of gameplay that goes somewhere along the lines of megabasing (seasonal things are ones that are easily avoidable or ignorable, theres no annoying seasonal bosses to screw with you, endgame items allow for lots of creative ideas for base design and more key to the city being the shining example, and technically hamlet brought in merged crafting which is absolutely huge) which is a huge plus for veterans of the game that truly explore the sandbox aspect of it. and even besides that playstyle hamlet brings a lot to the table for casual play in what i'd describe as a breath of fresh air compared to RoG/SW. instead of fighting for stuff and generally living out in the woods with nothing but your metaphorical bare fists, you're in some weird civilized world where you actually have to buy your food instead of hunt it, and get a job as a janitor or gardener. along with that you can go explore ruins that have lots of mystery and just, general enjoyment to be found within. The idea that hamlet is disappointing especially compared to it's older brother shipwrecked is absolutely ludicrous in my perspective given what we've got and how good it all is.
  17. Singleplayer Beefalo taming?

    it works fine now
  18. Wormwood Origin Theory

ok ok you got me on the snaptooth flytraps being able to eat....but have you ever heard of a plant that can speak and walk and craft science machines????
  19. Wormwood Origin Theory

wormwood (and snaptooth flytraps for that matter) are probably both animal and plant considering they eat more than just plant stuff and generally act like an animal would much more than a plant acts considering they walk and hunt and stuff.
  20. Had no idea about modutil! thanks a lot!
  21. I want to add a tag to all deciduous trees. How would i do that in a mod?
  22. please dont ask for the devs to make things less cool
  23. Why does fog exist

weevole mantles dont make you slow like other chest items do, just wear them or dont wear anything at all (other than your precious glasses>:()
