  1. Thanks for the help KCDA, though I'm not sure that's what happened, you can't pick saplings up. FreyaMaluk, I asked you this in another bug report as well, does this happen every time you do this? or was it just once? Do you have any mods installed? I can't reproduce either this or the other bug you reported about the green cap mushrooms. I'm hoping you can provide some more information.
  2. Was this a one time event for you? or does it happen every time you take green mushrooms inside Packim into the volcano?
  3. When a save file is set compatible with Shipwrecked, it can use some of the Shipwrecked items, including the loading animation.
  4. Jeff is correct. Your at the mercy of the fog when you go into it.
  5. I need some more information on this one. I've tried to reproduce it myself, but no success yet.
  6. Howdy Don’t Starvers, how are you all? Well fed I hope! Couple of fun changes added in this time. The “/roll” command will give you a random dice roll, good for filling your time on those cold nights with friends around the fire playing games of chance, and “/emote” will expand your range of expressions to whatever you can think of and hasn’t been animated yet. We decided to remove the Winter and Summer traps from Don’t Starve Together’s Worldgen. We miss them and will be looking to fill their void in the future, but with something a little more tailored to suit multiplayer. Inactive Bernies were causing some confusion, so he now remains fully functional when transferred to other Players, like many of the other character items. Stay dry, stay sane, and stay fed. See you again soon. View full update

  8. Muche is correct. If you have the world generation option "Starting Variety" set to Default or Highly Random, then some of basic resource items might be switched with alternate sources. For example, you don't have saplings for twigs in this world, you have twiggy trees.
  9. redeye85 is correct. We have set the Default option to 0 changing resources at the moment. Which means none of the resources will change from year to year. "Normal" is confusing as it should really be "medium". I'll change that.
  10. If you have "Changing Resources" turned on in the world gen, then at some point over the years, your Saplings will die off and be replaced with Twiggy Trees (and vice versa). When this happens, over a day or two, the world will be filled with new Twiggy trees. So you will see a lot of them spawn.
  11. With the "Changing Resources" option at world gen, over the years, some resources will become old and die. They will be replaced by another resource. Twiggy Trees will die and be replaced by Saplings for example, or you might have Grass replaced by Grass Gekkos. So in your wolds where the Twiggy Trees started getting sick, you should also find new Saplings starting to grow in a day or two. It should be off by default now, and it does appear to be that way in code. So, if you had everything set to default, it should not happen. It wasn't always off by default though, when the feature first launched last Tuesday it was on by default. So maybe this is why you were seeing it by default.
  12. If there were Twiggy Trees, this is on purpose. The resource variants are for providing different resource gathering experiences. If your world has Twiggy Trees, it means it won't have saplings. Instead of "picking" to gather twigs, you will use an axe to collect twigs, but you can also plant them easily and they grow quickly. Twiggy Trees will also have some twigs scattered on the ground, that's why you are seeing that. If you have the Changing Resources turned on in the world gen options, there is a chance from year to year that some of the variant resource types will switch from one version to another (saplings change to twiggy trees, grass changes to grass gekkos, etc). The old ones will get diseased and die off and the new one will appear around the world.
