  1. Release Candidate!

I just wanted to say the optimization on the linux side of things is awesome! Since last night my framerate is butter-smooth now, for the first time ever. Thanks! You've made my day Klei! I genuinely feel as though I owe you guys more than $12.
  2. http://cloud-2.steampowered.com/ugc/595874391816141936/2906F70DDFC24A07156D28F2A9A0AB142EA35EB8/ On the linux version of the 'adventuretesting' channel I'm getting this error when deerclops should appear. I've verified the game cache though steam, and uninstalled-reinstalled. .steam/steam/SteamApps/common/dont_starve/data/scripts/stategraphs/SGdeerclops.lua is called as .steam/steam/SteamApps/common/dont_starve/data/scripts/stategraphs/SGDeerclops.lua Oops! XD Renaming the file fixed my problem and Deerclops ate me.
  3. This may be a bug, or it may be a bug fix, but it seems with the current build since yesterday RMB won't murder rabbits (maybe birds, didn't test) if you're holding something with the mouse cursor. This was handy before because if your inventory was full, you could swap a live rabbit for something else to murder without dropping the item. Now you have to discard an item, and pick it up after you're done. it's just an extra step.Cooked green mushrooms don't render when dropped. I haven't tested the others. The umbrella doesn't stop making rain noises until you log out.As for the repair/clothing durability..I think it's an awesome change. The doomsayers in the other thread haven't really thought it through. It doesn't really effect survivability, I just have to make 2 winter hats instead of one. I think the scaling of wearable items could use a better pass though... It doesn't feel like there's enough of a linear progression between item teirs, or reward for progressing to a higher teir. Rabbit earmuffs are easy to make...they should last less and do minimal protection against the cold. The better items should cost much more, and last a little longer than current (25 days for the tam seems about right).
