Nightmare Update A Grande Chest only worthy of Maxwell! (and anyone else who wants it...) 80 Slot! v1.1 - recipe adjustment so's not to be so harsh. Tired of having 10-15 chests cluttering up your camp? Maxwell's Chest is for you! It even has a nice warm glow after dark. See screen shots for more coolness! Please install ModLib 1.5 for chest background to work. ModLib is a work-around until Klei gives us an easier way to replace certain files. It just loads like a regular mod, but just load it first. (Go Get >>) (if you're running RPG HUD (and why wouldn't you!), you won't need ModLib) Install: Double-click downloaded ZIP file and DRAG enclosed directory into your dontstarve/mods directory. Start game and enable mod on the mods screen. NOTE: Compatible with RPG HUD and backpack and amulet mods NOTE 2: It is suggested that with these chest and other interface mods, to change your HUD size from 10 to 5 (Options > Settings). Everything will then fit as it should (to a point - extra small windows can't be helped). Discuss >>

Description: This mod actually adds more playable content to the game! You gather supplies to make the Skeleton Rod (survival recipe tab). Then, you can go searching for skeletons. The Skeleton Rod works like the divining rod and makes a 'ping' noise that gets louder and redder the closer you get to a skeleton. THEN, take your pick and dig them bones. For MORE fun, start your worlds with max 'boons'! v1.1 added animation states Possible loot: * ash * wetgoop * beardhair * redgem * bluegem * walrus_tusk * goldnugget * krampus_sack (VERY small chance) * poop * walrushat (small chance) * spoiled_food ..maybe a chance of spawning a ghost? Versions: Backpack Amulet Backpack and Amulet NOTE: This mod does not support the small texture option. NOTE 2: I've only updated the BackPack and Amulet mod. No point in doing anything less (IMO). BackPad mod and BackPack and Amulet mod available. DO NOT ENABLE MORE THAN ONE! These Mods add 1 or two slots in equip slot depending on the download. So, now armor and backpack have different slots to equip plus Amulet. A big thanks goes out to kiopho for the Amulet code! Installation: Double-click the downloaded mod. DRAG the enclosed directory into your dontstarve/mods directory and enable on the games Mod screen. Again, DO NOT RUN MORE THAN ONE VERSION AT A TIME! More info, link below : Discuss this Mod

14. This really gives us nothing to go on. Have you read through this thread, especially the first post?
15. Aren't the inventory images supposed to be in "images/inventoryimages/rhammo.xml"? This was stated, but I'm not sure if it can just be in inventoryimages if you've called out the path. Also, I had to have this in the actual prefab to get the image to show in the inventory bar (in my mod): inst:AddComponent("inventoryitem") inst.components.inventoryitem.atlasname = "images/inventoryimages/skeletonrod.xml"
16. I got around my problem by giving up and using an alternate, existing texture in the hud.tex file for the extra backpack equip slot. :disturbed:One thing I've noticed about this last update is that 1.) there are far fewer folks even attempting mods and 2.) those of us that are left cannot figure a lot of this hud/map stuff out without the dev's help.I will say, however, that I absolutely love the new mod load screen/process.
17. Steam let's Klei control when test builds are released and when to pull them, so we won't see it on any other platforms.
18. I'm working through the same issue with the background image for backpacks when loaded (in the inventory equip bar):WARNING! Could not set texture: 'images/equip_slot_back.tex' from atlas 'data/images/hud.xml'This also involves hover text which isn't working either (in my case). The image loading has been drastically changed and has broken everything. Most things have been fixable, but this still alludes me...
19. Yep, makes perfect sense. Thanks for the explanation.
20. Many thanks Ipsquiggle. Yeah, I know the one error is because I've just dropped a tehMug image in there for a place holder. Also, how do we now reference a .tex file that is inside selectscreen_portraits.tex? I've got a stack of portraits I use to reference individually, but I'm at a loss as to what to do now that they're all in this one file...I'll try this out tonight if I get the Character screen to load in Test Tools:Asset("IMAGE", "data/images/selectscreen_portraits.tex"),Asset("ATLAS", "data/images/selectscreen_portraits.xml"),
21. This works completely, but the background chest image no longer loads, and I've got this problem in a few other mods.If these images have to be the 'power of 2' thing, it won't work because the various bags and such don't conform to those limited size choices.
22. Ipsquiggle, several of my mods now error out with "not a valid Klei texture", even though they were fine before the preview. I've made several new backgrounds for several mods including Test Tools that now will not load. If you knew how much trouble I went through to get these all working the first time, you'd send me a cake. What needs to be done?
23. And I just got everything working from the last update....
