  1. Hello art forum! I'm new here, fairly good at english and I have a pendant for drawing stuff. Don't Starve is one of my favourite games of all time, and I've had it for about.. erm... three months now, I think. It's great. So much lovely art of the game itself, so much lovely fan art of the game, so much lovely gameplay, so much lovely everything! So I decided to join in with some of my scribbling! I doodled Wilson as a spiderhunter on a piece of paper the other day, liked it, scanned it and uploaded to deviantArt and Tumblr and such. Here you go! By the way, I do take requests! If you want me to draw something, post a suggestion and I'll respond with either a yes or no, depending on the request. (I hope this works!)
  2. Did someone say insane robot? Is that even possible?(I usually draw WX with a jacket on because in the game files he has sleeves so.)
  3. A dash of mime too.
  4. In which I draw Don't Starve all the time but completely forget to update this damn thread.WX is my favourite.
  5. Ahhh. Thank you. I don't like Maxwell, and I don't like drawing him.But here you go.
  6. Any requests? I feel like drawing stuff. (PS it wont be on until tomorrow at first)
  7. DS Drawing Time

Your art is awesome!Have you considered coloring some of the stuff you've posted? I'm sure it would look a billion times more cool!
  8. Haha, thank you. I love Wes. But he's actually doing this here!
  9. Glad you like it!Significant lack of Wes here...
  10. Yes sir! Haha, I guess they do resemble eachother to a certain extent.
  11. Thank you, friend! Ah! Thank you very much, friend. And what about her hand? I know the fist looks a bit wonky, but I was in class and it just sort of turned out like that, heh. Not proud of it.
  12. Hello forum! This is my first post here, and I hope many more will follow. I've been lurking around this lovely forum for a while now, mainly in the Art and Lore section. One thing I've noticed a lot is that people misinterpret characters a lot. In this section I have mainly noticed Wendy portrayed as, perhaps a young girl at the age of maybe, 15-17.I think that based on how Wendy behaves and talks in-game, that she is at least 20, if not a bit older. She isn't childish or playful, she isn't violent or aggressive.I think, personally, what makes Wendy's character is how numb she is emotionally. She's morbid, a bit dull, and talks as if she's given up all hope on everything.I have to go now, but I think for a first post this'll do. What do you guys think? Is Wendy young and playful or is she a bit older and more numb, morbid, a bit disconnected, if you will?Leave your thoughts, friends.
  13. It's raining Don't Starve fan art!I spent two hours scribbling in class and this came out. I really like Willow and Wilson here, experimented with Wilson's hair, making it look a bit more like my own style but still keeping it close to Don't Starve's style. Then there's two Wendy's and a Warrior Spider. And a hand. And a ****ty eye.Might ink some of these later on the computer.
  14. Thank you friends! More art incoming! Here's one of Willow.EDIT: A-Ahhahh.. it's angled a bit weirdly. Oh well!
  15. Less half-assed picture!Don't attack spider nests without any armor and just a spear. From personal experience.
  16. Here's a really quick drawing of my first meeting with the warrior spiders.
  17. Thank you, friend! Your drawings are lovely c:
  18. Misinterpreted Characters!

With the logic that Willow is clearly a child because she carries a teddy bear, you are calling quite a lot of adults children just because they are fond of a stuffed animal, perhaps since childhood. For me Willow and Wendy are both around 20, Wilson is perhaps, 25-35-ish. Wolfgang is like, maybe.. 40.Also, I doubt children could survive in the wilderness against such vile creatures, and would be able to build all this complex machinery. Noted, it is a game and it makes impossible things possible, but still. I guess. But it's still pretty unlikely a small child can survive in the wilderness for as long as an adult could. "Abigail, come back! I'm not done playing with you." Is easily something a grief filled woman who lost her sister could shout out. Let's not forget that Wendy lost her twin sister and twins are generally fairly close. She's clearly traumatized judging by how she reacts to a lot of things, and considering that her sister haunts her I'd say she's fairly likely to say childish things. I don't know for sure but I can imagine traumatized people often look to their childhood for reassurance, to try and feel safe or something. In my mind, Wendy is traumatized and has been through more mental anguish than the other characters.
