      UPDATED - Studio Note & Rhymes with Play Streams Temporarily Canceled.   03/06/2020

      UPDATE (3/19/20): Just a quick note regarding the team at Klei Entertainment. As noted previously, everybody at Klei Entertainment is working from home due to the Covid-19 outbreak. Many of us have been working especially hard to help maintain operations as we all move out of the office and into our homes and with everything being done online, extra time must be spent in organizing conversations and trying to maintain communication. As some of you may know, we have a very open office and we are almost always in contact with each other as we go about our days. Some of us work across multiple teams and that work has become a bit more challenging for everybody.   That being said, at this time the transition has not caused any major disruption in our operations, but it would be overly optimistic to expect that we won't have any delays at all. We're going to have to be especially mindful about this in the coming weeks and make sure we don't take on too much work so we can keep things running smoothly.  We will let you know as we see how these changes affect our timelines.  Thanks UPDATE (3/10/20):
      The test yesterday went well. We got the whole office (mostly) to work from home without significant issue. As a result, Klei Staff that can work from home have been asked to do so until further notice.  This means that we will have to cancel the Rhymes with Play stream until we are all back in the office. This shouldn't affect anything else at least in the short term, but if things change I will update you all here.  Original Post: Hey everybody,  This Tuesday March 10th, 2020 the entire staff at Klei will be working remotely for 1 day in an effort to prepare the studio to work remotely for a little while if the need arises.  Klei is already set up pretty well to allow for working remotely, however we are going to have a one day "dry run" with the whole studio so that we can identify and avoid any issues or downtime that may arise should choose to implement a work from home policy due to COVID-19 outbreak concerns. Unfortunately this does mean that we will be canceling the “Rhymes with Play” Art stream this coming Tuesday, however unless the situation changes we expect everything at the studio to be back to normal Wednesday and we’ll continue our regular stream schedule Thursday March 12th. If the situation changes at all, we'll let you know. Thanks for your understanding.

    So people actually wait for crops to grow? :S Isn't is easier just to harvest berries? I don't even?

    Why do you think progression is in this game only "to not overwhelm new players"? Progression is the main reason I play any game. When Minecraft was in beta I got bored of it very quick as I hate sandbox games. I like narrative and a sense of progression. I like completing my games. The only games I ever play over and over are multiplayer games. So please keep in mind players like me (it seems like you wrote about it before). Eg. I probably will only stick to 1 character I like the most and suits my playstyle the most and play the game that way. Once I see everything there is to see I'm done. I don't play games over and over again with nothing to reward me for playing.I am getting a bit bored with the beta because I've unlocked almost everything. Once I've unlocked everything, and MAYBE cooked everything there is to cook, then I'm done until the final game is released probably. Unlocking stuff (eg. Checklist) is the primary drive for me atm. I suppose once Story mode is out, the narrative will then become the primary drive for me, though.Achievements would really help. Do you plan on adding them?

    You would need a lot of pig houses. There are about 6 pigs on my map (that I explored so far). That means max 6 manure (unless you wait around until they want to eat again, who knows how long that is wasting your time) every 6 berries you feed it. With a turbo farm plot it takes 2 manure to grow 1 crop (and you don't even know what you are going to get). You'd be better off just eating the berries! And harvesting flower petals or butterfly wings is a pain. Farming is not OP compared to berry farming.
  4. Same here. The beefalos wandered around the map so that it is harder to get manure. Maybe once herd cohension comes in the next patch the farming wouldn't seem too nerfed, but right now it is. It takes a lot of manure just to farm, and I can't do it everyday if I wanted to (it would take too much time to hunt for manure) even with turbo farm plot!My suggestion: Make it so that you are guaranteed 2 seeds from a bird, but have a 25% chance that the 2nd seed is just a regular seed.

I am killing spiders, getting monster meat, cooking, and researching in order to research stuff, so I don't want to destroy the only spider den near my base (I destroyed the other 6 or 7 or so in days 1 - 5). I want to kill the spiders though, so can I hit the nest once, get them to come out, kill them, strike it again for another 1 or 2 and then come back the next day and do it all over again or will eventually the spider den get destroyed? In other words does spider den health regen or reset after 24 hours or so or when? Thank you.
  6. They should add something new to the game. I'm sure the dev's computers have notepads scattered with ideas for different items. Maybe a Spider's Eye or Hair.

Describe your issue Beefalo wander way past the savanna/forest biome generated. They wander into the forest biome around the savanna biome and I can hardly even find them. Beefalo should be coded not to go too far past a savanna biome. One time the hounds came after me and I went around a beefalo thinking the others would come, but only 1 came and the hounds basically killed the 2 beefalo because the others never came because they had wandered off who knows where.
  8. Was looking at the wiki once I encountered a Spider Queen to see if I should take it on or not. After seeing the drops, it's not even worth it to kill the Queen! Why not add a rare item drop so that the player would want to kill it? I went to the nest actually in order to kill it, get the spider egg, and plant it somewhere in order to get a tier 1 nest. I didn't know that eventually tier 3 nests revert back to a tier 1! What's the point in that? I don't see why that should be in the game. It should stay tier 3 until you destroy it. If you want a tier 1 you will have to destroy it and get the eggs. Agree or disagree? Pros & Cons?
