  1. Is your O2 low concentration? Are you making them touch water before you have a shower? Did you pick starting guys that are higher level and require higher decor right off the bat? Do you not build a massage table with priority 9 and top scale 40% and bottom scale 30%? Do you not let them have a massage by turning off the massage bit on their job list? Are they all waking up in the middle of the night (not including pee breaks) for some reason?

I actually get bored after cycle 150 and have infinite o2, infinite power, infinite food, and I'm evaporating polluted water into steam to go back into my fresh water storage to ween myself off of sand. At that point I usually have 5-6 dudes. Is there something to discover after you have pepper plants at this point of the game build?

  4. I run 3 dupes until I'm done with all my research. Never ever use algae deoxidizers. First build 2 outhouses and 3 beds spread apart, because they breath out co2 and can disrupt other people's sleep if oxygen levels are low. But you shouldn't let your O2 levels get low because you'll need 6 terrariums to keep 3 people alive (notice the free light source). Same goes for food, you'll need 6 (7 to be safe) mealwood plants to feed them. Do not let them go underwater, or even near water until you have a working shower (the outbound pipes need to go up 2 tiles to work properly). Always always always research in this order first: Food then Decor I used to go for the electolyzer and hydrogen genny, but you don't really need it if you can your biodistillers up and running. electrolyzer is just in case you run out of algae, but you need to get the hydrogen genny right after so you can deal with the hydrogen. Jobs: you only need 1 artist (usually get someone with 5 creativity and don't let anyone else do the art) 1 person on research 1 person to cook If you want easy mode, get one of each from the start screen and make sure they all have diver's lungs Notice the terrariums at the bottom of my main (only) shaft because they can suck up CO2. There's still a ton of algae I haven't even dug up yet and I have almost all my research done. Beds always go up a level because O2 rises, but that's not important BECAUSE YOU HAVE 6 TERRARIUMS, RIGHT? But really, low concentration O2 and making them dig in water before they can shower makes their stress unmanageable.
  5. Flooding makes workers idle (that it should not) and running on a treadmill to no effect. Battery is flooded and no one is using equipment. Bathroom door(?) I think made an invisible wall to stop water. Now the water is too high to walk through. Just fyi to devs. Guess I'll start over.

    There shouldn't be any polluted water anywhere, but that is a good idea to lower the level and fix any water issues. Just saying the water shouldn't behave like that.

    Is the 122 the air around it, the tile it's on, or the actual water you're trying to evaporate?

    I finally figured it out. It has nothing to do with incoming water. You can't have a turn in the OUTGOING pipe first thing, you have to make it come straight out.

    I tried it in the image and it didn't work, but now they take1.5 second showers instead of 1 second showers. They don't even use up a whole glob of water in that amount of time. Oh, actually they use 2, but it's really delayed. There's something definitely wrong with the shower. I even tried a straight shot, then I tried a straight shot with a valve, but you can't increase pressure beyond the max 10kg.

    Ok, well that fixed the problem on my last colony, but now I have a dedicated pump to a single shower and they still only use it for 1 second. The plumbing all works, but the guys just run off before they're done. Now my guys can't get anything done unless I take the shower offline...

    Following this thread because my guys just started doing this with the new may 15th-ish expanded food update. They've never done this before. I just found out what the problem was. I put the shower on the water pipe line BEFORE the bathrooms. If you have the shower on AFTER (at the end of the water incoming pipe), they won't take full showers. In the attached image, the old shower (left) only gave 1 second showers. The new shower (right) gives full showers. The new water is coming from the right of the screen and going left. Strange because I have hydroponic pots before the shower. Unless someone needed to use the bathroom when someone was taking a shower, the water pressure should be constant max, but it's not - so this is a bug. You could add a little mob called a shower bug like a snake that would come out of the pipes every once and a while, that would be freakin' creepy.

    My guy runs and builds one pipe, then runs to the shower for 1 sec runs to build 1 section of pipe and takes another 1 second shower. He has a lot of pipe to make, so he'll be taking a lot of showers. He's only touching pure oxygen and no water between here and there. That's with pipes being 9 priority.

    Nope, biodistillers are down the line and they're running max speed, no backup polluted water in the system.

    Yea, I have no idea why my shower isn't working anymore (since the new update) either. They hop in for 1 whole second then run off. They're still grimy.
  22. Cycle 11 and my dudes are freaking out with 71 stress. The 2 massage tables at 9 priority and have power have never been used. CO2 is creeping up and there is no food in the ration box. I lived longer my first try without knowing anything haha. My electrolyzer is being constructed, but I think it's a little too late. Has anyone else noticed this or is it just me? (Not complaining, just wondering)
  23. The only thing I made them do besides dig underwater a little bit was clean the bathroom for fertilizer that I couldn't even use on the plants I started.
  24. The binge eater was at 50% the beginning of day 10 and his decor need was -20... I have no idea how he got so high so fast. The last colonist died on day 16. I only had 1 section of oxygen to dig into, other than that I blocked off my 4 starting rooms I make and expand down from there. He must have been the only one digging underwater because he was the highest. No pollution at all in my base. He ate everything in my base in 2 days before my plants even matured.
