      Support Email Error (Zendesk)   08/12/2019

      We are migrating to a new customer support ticketing system (desk.com) and unfortunately while moving over our old tickets the new system (Zendesk) sent an auto reply to "new users". We weren't aware this would happen and so and email was sent out in error. You do not need to create an account and you can ignore the email entirely.     Ok, well that fixed the problem on my last colony, but now I have a dedicated pump to a single shower and they still only use it for 1 second. The plumbing all works, but the guys just run off before they're done. Now my guys can't get anything done unless I take the shower offline...

    Following this thread because my guys just started doing this with the new may 15th-ish expanded food update. They've never done this before. I just found out what the problem was. I put the shower on the water pipe line BEFORE the bathrooms. If you have the shower on AFTER (at the end of the water incoming pipe), they won't take full showers. In the attached image, the old shower (left) only gave 1 second showers. The new shower (right) gives full showers. The new water is coming from the right of the screen and going left. Strange because I have hydroponic pots before the shower. Unless someone needed to use the bathroom when someone was taking a shower, the water pressure should be constant max, but it's not - so this is a bug. You could add a little mob called a shower bug like a snake that would come out of the pipes every once and a while, that would be freakin' creepy.

    I came across this "bug", so I came looking to give some ideas to the devs. My dudes will literally be stuck forever running to an infinite drip taking 1000g each time, doing it fifty times for 2 days just to make a single liceloaf bar. I literally can't make food bars until I trash my hydroponics bay. Ideally, the dupe should go to the nearest water source that has greater than or equal to the amount of water the target needs OR greater than or equal to the amount of water he can carry. Or At the very least, he can pick up the 1000g and continue looking for water until he is full or has enough. Or Put a kitchen sink or spicket in the game to have fresh water near a location they can pull from on their own.
  6. The backpack thing is annoying... I'm sure it's already been posted about several times. On top of that, when you use items, it takes it out of the first slot you have it in, not the stack that has the lower amount. Example: You have 43 grass and 22 wood (full stacks of grass and wood plus 3 and 2). You build a fire. Now, you have a stack of 38 grass, 3 grass, 18 wood, and 2 wood. Now I have to play inventory nazi again, just like the backpack problem. It would be nice if you threw in something that used up items from the lowest stack first. When you pick up items when your inventory is full, it goes to your mouse/action slot. It would also be nice if you could continue to pick up the same items and instead of throwing them around to add them to your mouse/action slot. I would really like the tools to actually "swap" locations. Right now when you right click (or hit the number) it puts that tool in your hand - and the tool that was in your hand goes into the first available slot instead of the slot that the other tool came out of. Enjoying the game, keep up the good work. And the football helmet should go under armor.

    day 120 - map fully explored - all graves dug - all items built - 2 meat effigies and plenty of trimmings starting to get careless trying to unlock the other characters... maybe they don't unlock until after the game ends.
