    It is working fine for me, wall gates are at the end of normal stuff on structure tab. Idk.

    There is new version of the mod on workshop but I dint change anything recipe related in it.

    Check other mods maybe or reinstall the mods or game.


  2. Might be a false alarm. I've just noticed, that the "invisible walls" thing happen *only* if I enter caves and return to surface (and for caves, only if I visit surface and went back). What is more funny, the cave entrance itself dissapears (albeit remain functional, just invisible). Furthermore, simply saving+quit and loading make all walls and unplugged sinholes appear again, and cycling wall gate isn't necessary, so I would say that for 99% it isn't related to this mod (or any other modf, for that matter) - I guess I'm hitting some vanilla DS:RoG bug.

    Steam or Standalone version? Also it is on linux or windows?


  3. I get a (reproducible) strange bug while using this mod - everytime i start a new world, all walls (normal, all types, hay, wood, stone...) are invisible (ground look like they're not there, but they block movements and you can attack/hammer them, etc).

    Hoever, if I save+quit, turn the mod OFF, load, then save+quit, turn the mod ON, load - everything gets back to normal, walls become visible as soon as mod is turned off, and remain visible when it's turned on again.

    Any ideas, Q?

    Never had this. Will check it later.

    It happened when you were near a birdcage or in some distant part of the world?

    The ice koalefant crashes non-RoG on load. (periodicspawner can't find ice)Ok

    Ok, I found the issues with it and fixed it, now need to wait for Raccoon to show up and upload new version.

    And you don't need to hack ice out, you can just disable mod and run your world without problems, modded koalefants will vanish and you can enable mod again after downloading fixed version. Bugs happen. Now waiting for Raccoon to upload the fixed version.

    Thanks for the report, no need to be upset.

     

    And its updated now. Still you need to disable mod and run the game without it to remove the crash, cause RoG and base game prefabs got mixed, so RoG prefab spawned in base game.


  6. I like this. Can we edit the amount of nightmare fuel you have to use from the files?

    You can edit that in the component normal_tree.lua.

    Just change the number 2 there for the number of fules you want to use. You can also say how many fuels you want to use I can make that configurable in the future update:)

    This and the ice flingomatic range mod are the 2 things i have wanted in  the game for a loooooong time- and you made BOTH of them!

    The only problem i have found with it is that you can no longer give things to a wormhole. But i rarely use that feature anyway.

    I didn't edit anything about giving items to wormholes, it was in RoG or base game?

    Tested without mod and it seems that you can't give crafted items to a wormhole, since it took twigs and seed but not log suit.

  9. After I installed the mod I keep on getting this message on start up ~~> /wallgates/modmain.lua:4:variable "tech" is not declared What do I need to do?

    Do you have latest version of the game?

    Found the problem. I'm using custom character. If I play using generic character the gates work just fine.

    Is it the problem with the gate mods or with the character mods?

    I'm gonna try with other mods character, will give you the report after that.

    I used custom character and everything works fine.

    Maybe you have better walls mod installed, will check if it works correctly with it.

    It works with better walls mod to, so I need more details about that custom character you are using.

    Thats the problem with custom character strings, can you post log file, as this error was fixed by Klei some time ago.

    Make sure you are using most recent version of the game.


  12. how about hammering down a mispalced gate? my game crashes

    Updated to the lates steam workshop version. It works without any crashes on hammering.

    If it still crashes check the other mods that edit walls.
