  2. What you're probably trying to do is pick up an actual spider nest. To get a spider egg either destroy a tier 3 nest (a tier 1 or 2 nest won't yield an egg) or kill a spider queen~
  3. I'm almost on day 100 of my first adventure map, still on World 1. The only reason I'm insisting on spending some time on this map is because it's shaped a lot like Italy. I have more berry bushes then I know what to do with.

  5. I've encountered him four times this winter. I've managed to kill him every time (a pig ate one of the eyeballs though). But that won't be a problem anymore since the last deerclops smashed all of my pig houses >_> But honestly, I thought after the first time I dealt with him I wouldn't have to worry about him spawning and explore more. Apparently not.

  7. I think it would be cool for rain to turn to hail during the winter. It'd cause gradual damage. The characters could say something along the lines of "The weather is getting worse, I should take some cover!" Plus, it would add a new function for the tent c:
  8. Burning it while in your camp is viable, if you don't mind half your camp burning down as well.If you can get your hands on an ice staff, it's not a bad strategy either :3
  9. This isn't a bug. Tooth traps don't trap things in the sense the rabbit traps do. When a mob runs over it, it springs up and does 60 damage. It doesn't actually trap the mob and won't do damage again until reset (can quickly be done with right click). A hound would have to run over a tooth trap 3 times in order to die purely from the traps.
  10. Whoah whoah, second Deerclops? Silly me, I thought just one deerclops per winter came.Anyways, the only way beefalo would attack him is if they're in heat, but that needs verification.
  11. Sanity was raised to 200, so if you loaded a previous save it probably kept the number it was at (1-100). So if you had full sanity prior to the update, you now have 100/200, which is half. Sorry if that didn't make any sense lol.Sanity does not replenish during the day anymore, unless you have clothes with the dapper effect on. If you have both a sanity hat and vest it doesn't even drop at night. Otherwise, yeah, pick flowers and eat cookies and don't lose that smile on your face~And yes, honey was nerfed and characters were made weaker. Bees even got a new AI and are a more challenging foe than before. I find that if you keep flowers around the bee box they lose interest in you quicker. I don't think you're experiencing bugs, just the update has a lot of things to get used to.Hope this helps!
  12. I kind of suck at this game, but I love it. That being said, this is kind of an accomplishment for me ^^;;He came at around day 8 or 9 of my winter, I think? I could be wrong, lost track of days. I went out every day in search of the winter koalaphant and finally found tracks a considerable distance away from my base so I was gone for most of the day (I did manage to kill the koalaphant and get that spiffy puffy vest). Long story short I was hardly at my base. I made it back home just as night arrived and caught the bloody Deerclops smashing my bee boxes. Needless to say I almost had a mini heart attack and had little time to prepare. I'm kind of wary of saying my strategy in detail >_> I had originally thought I would use pigs if I decided to fight him, but they had already retreated to their houses. I also didn't use any of that night armor stuff (I've never gone entirely insane).I will say this, though, the final blow was with my trusty ice staff!My final thoughts: He doesn't need nerf. Really. His current difficulty is fine. With that being said he shouldn't be made any more difficult either:crushed::crushed:Does anyone who's fought him have any input as well?
