  1. Regarding the Intel graphics issue, I submitted the form on Friday (also, my bug report is here) and again a few days later and I've yet to receive a reply. Has anyone read it yet?
  2. Poor game performance in steam version.

I'm surprised to see problems with Nvidia and AMD cards as well. Perhaps the problem isn't limited to Intel graphics.
  3. Poor game performance in steam version.

So is 1 part equivalent to 1/16 of the clock in the top right corner? I have the same issues on Windows 7 64-bit with Intel HD graphics. I thought it was isolated to Intel graphics, but perhaps it is a Windows 7 64-bit issue since you have AMD graphics. My specs are: Windows 7 64-bit CPU: Intel Core i3 370 M Video: Intel® HD Graphics (first generation) RAM: 4GB
  4. I'm having similar issues to cnkandrew's experience. There is a lot of mouse lag in the Steam version which does not show up in the Chrome version. It makes gathering things quickly and movement in combat much more difficult. The mouse cursor feels like it's moving through jello. The cursor isn't jerky, just very slow. It takes a few seconds for the cursor to catch up to where you are actually pointing the mouse. I'm glad to see the game can now load with the drivers though. Please let me know if I can provide any more info or feedback.
  5. I'm also having problems with the Steam version of the game. I was running an older version of the Intel driver, which actually worked better. The Chrome demo worked fine, it averaged around 24-26 FPS and everything was totally playable. However the Steam version averages 9-10 FPS and it feels like my character is moving through jello. I checked the thread and updated my drivers to This actually made things worse. The Steam version completely refuses to launch now. I dug around in steamapps\common\dont_starve\bin and found a bunch of crash logs with names like dontstarve_steam_69179_crash_2012_11_16T23_29_28C0.mdmp which are generated every time I try to launch the game and fail. Also, the Chrome version has dropped to about 20-22 FPS so it's a bit slower but still playable. So if you're having issues with Intel graphics, you might have some luck with rolling your drivers back to but the game will probably still run really slowly. Specs: Windows 7 64-bit CPU: Intel Core i3 370 M Video: Intel® HD Graphics (first generation) RAM: 4GB I've also included some benchmarks I gathered using Fraps: 2012-11-16 17:10:26 - chrome Frames: 370 - Time: 16864ms - Avg: 21.940 - Min: 16 - Max: 28 2012-11-16 17:10:59 - chrome Frames: 225 - Time: 9438ms - Avg: 23.840 - Min: 19 - Max: 28 2012-11-16 17:14:21 - chrome Frames: 157 - Time: 6802ms - Avg: 23.081 - Min: 7 - Max: 31 2012-11-16 17:14:48 - chrome Frames: 317 - Time: 11856ms - Avg: 26.738 - Min: 21 - Max: 30 2012-11-16 17:15:13 - chrome Frames: 175 - Time: 6661ms - Avg: 26.272 - Min: 23 - Max: 30 2012-11-16 17:20:08 - dontstarve_steam Frames: 280 - Time: 28189ms - Avg: 9.933 - Min: 8 - Max: 11 2012-11-16 17:20:51 - dontstarve_steam Frames: 20 - Time: 1935ms - Avg: 10.336 - Min: 10 - Max: 11 2012-11-16 17:20:58 - dontstarve_steam Frames: 29 - Time: 2871ms - Avg: 10.101 - Min: 9 - Max: 11 2012-11-16 17:21:22 - dontstarve_steam Frames: 31 - Time: 3089ms - Avg: 10.036 - Min: 9 - Max: 11
