  1. [Game Update] - 210794

I don't see it listed, but did this fix the musher bug that stopped them from working?
  2. I find the microbe musher stops working after some time, either continuously taking in water or not allowing a duplicant to work on it. Duplicants also love standing or sleeping in water and suffocating instead of going up to locations for oxygen. These two things are the most frustrating, right now, as it keeps leading to difficult to avoid duplicant deaths. Reloading the game, seemed to fix the microbe musher issue.
  3. Microbe musher gets stuck

I am not sure if my issue is caused by the same problem, but I could not get anyone to make food with the Microbe musher, after a while. It just said awaiting material delivery and did nothing else. I did notice this until my duplicants began to starve. I was able to restart the game and they began making food again, but unfortunately it seems that the latest save was close to a duplicants starvation death. I also noticed that they only made a small amount of food before they left, despite them still starving. When it was not working, the duplicants just stood around, with their movement path going all over the place. Even with the microbe musher on priority 9 did not help.
  4. Known Issues

Thanks for this. I used this list to mark known issues in my bug post.
  5. Some Early Bugs

Let's let the developers figure out if this is a bug (animation, gameplay, whatever). There is a ladder below the duplicant, in both scenarios. If they are not holding onto a ladder and cannot stand on the top of the current ladder, then the duplicant should fall to the next lowest ladder (or whatever is below them). This is a bug forum. Whether animation- or gameplay-related, I am just posting things which I find to be odd behaviour in the game.
  6. I can confirm that I have also had this bug, mentioned near the bottom of my bug post. Not sure why if happened, either and I am unsure if it had any effect on my game as it was out-of-range of most beds.
  7. Some Early Bugs

Okay, but the fact they are stuck in a climbing state is a bug. The applicant should have been able to go back an accessible segment of ladder and either continue moving to an accessible area or stay still until an accessible area opened (i.e. by rebuilding the ladder, in Bug 1). Both duplicates are stuck floating in a climbing state, which is the bug I am trying to point out.
  8. Some Early Bugs

Thanks for the replies, SpponsOnMyElbows and Interloper, For Bug 1, I can see that they need to climb higher than the top rung, but they do have the ability to climb up the side of a tile as can be seen in every other situation, in the game (where they are not standing on the top rung of a ladder). It would be mechanically-inconsistent that you cannot get out in this situation.Clearly, I do not fully understand they developer's current intent on ladder movement, However, saying you need to build them two tiles above where they need to go, which I have never seen necessary, suggests that you also may not fully understand ladders either. Saying they will get often stuck sure sounds inconsistent and like a bug, to me. I have played many more hours, now, and always build to the point where they get off, never above. For bug 3, that Duplicant is literally floating in mid-air and will not move. Not sure what this has to do with not understanding ladders. I understand what you are both saying about rounding errors for Bug 4. I guess it is just a coincidence that I had such a close value to the required amount. Rounding down would definitely help, here. I have run into several more issues, in my past few hours playing (not sure if I should add them here or make another topic): - Pathfinding issues where duplicants go idle while having valid jobs available within vaid movement, only to have no trouble finding their bed come nightfall. - Jobs that are priority 9 not being done, despite being reachable and the only priority 9 jobs available. - Clean water going into the water purifier completely disappears. - Snoring animation remains nearby where the duplicant slept and will not go away (even after many cycles). I am unsure if it has the effects of snoring or if it is only a graphical issue.
  9. Edit: Missed the ladder issue in the known issue list (Bugs 1 & 3). Bug 1 (gameplay issue) Known Issue - Stuck on Ladder After It's Gone Clone has become stuck on the ladder segment location after it was deconstructed. The character should be able to escape as the ledge is only one step above. I was able to free them by having another clone come build the ladder segment again. This appears to be a gameplay issue. Bug 2 (graphical issue) Two pieces of material (cultivated dirt, I think it was) on the ground not showing sweep symbol after being selected for sweep. They can be selected and do show that they are selected for sweep, though, so this is likely only a graphical issue. Bug 3 (gameplay issue) Known Issue - Stuck on Ladder After It's Gone Clone stuck suspended in the air after a segment of ladder was deconstructed. Clone would not move (even manually). I was able to free them by building another ladder segment where they were stuck. Bug 4 (gameplay issue) Could not purchase the hand sanitizer, despite having the required resources. It says I have 50 bleached stone and that it requires 50, but I am still unable to build it. Unselecting and re-selecting the hand sanitizer did nothing. Once I obtained more (slightly over 100 bleached stone), I was able to build it. Additional Issues I have run into several more issues, in my past few hours playing (not sure if I should add them here or make another topic): - Pathfinding issues where duplicants go idle while having valid jobs available within vaid movement, only to have no trouble finding their bed come nightfall. - Jobs that are priority 9 not being done, despite being reachable and the only priority 9 jobs available. - Clean water going into the water purifier completely disappears. Known issue. - Snoring animation remains nearby where the duplicant slept and will not go away (even after many cycles). I am unsure if it has the effects of snoring or if it is only a graphical issue. Known issue. - Giant waves in water (clean and contaminated) caused by the small flow of water into it (i.e. from vomit spilling over into it). Some times, the water splashes over twice it's depth. The water spilling into it may represent a fraction of a percent of the total volume. Known issue.
  10. Jan 9 Update: Turf!

And... flint has now become that much more important and it's scarcity will be even easier to see.
  11. What? Common sense 101? What is the point of making suggestions if they have rules.
  12. What do you do during the night?

Night, when there is nothing left to do (no cooking, plant tending, etc.) is one of the most boring points of the game. They really need to introduce something interesting and useful to do, beyond these things, that can pass the night. Some examples: - setting waypoint markers on the map - setting up orders for pigment to do (i.e. which plants to tend to, cooking to do, areas to cut down trees, etc.) There are plenty of things they CAN do. I think leaving the night with not much to do (unless you are being attacked or tending to plants, etc.) will only hurt the replayability of game in the long run.
  13. [Exploit] Easy Gobbler kill

This requires you to roast and have said berries ready for when you meet a gobbler. Then, you have to make sure they eat it. This is what people call a lure trap. Not a glitch or bug, IMO.
  14. Bug Submission Please choose a category [Gameplay] Platform Steam Version Number - Issue title Gold Near Water Falls In and Is Lost Steps to reproduce 1) Find a mine next to water. 2) User a pickaxe to break the rock. 3) Watch as a gold piece falls out next to the edge... and disappears (falls in). Describe your issue Happened to me 3 times in a single game, yesterday. The gold piece appears momentarily on the land next to the water... then disappears. It cannot be retrieved. I did not notice any rock falling in, although it might have. I was mainly focused on the location of the gold pieces. Perhaps this is intended, but it seems that since the gold piece is sitting firmly on the land, it shouldn't be disappearing. I only assume it is disappearing due to the water. I have never had gold disappear inland. Note: I can now confirm that this happens to other items including stone and flintrock (or whatever it is called).
