  1. Oh, forgot to mention. Reloading the savefile force the heat exchange to happen, but only for already placed chuncks. Newly solidified ones are still buggy.
  2. Hi I noticed that after Rad update a lot of my Volcanoes processing structures stopped working properly. The thing is, while the whole environment was cooling down by the steam turbine, the metal chunk itself was not cooling until submerged into liquid or gas (The structure is placed in vacuum to handle the temperatures). So I created a new sandbox world and performed a set of experiments. Turns out the problem was in tempshift plate. For some odd reason, if there was a tempshift plate behind a hot chunk of material - that chunk will not be heating up the solid block it it laying on. I only tested it with mechanized airlock, as it was my case in actual game. It is possible any solid block will behave the same.

  5. Any savefile will do. Right of the start, if the duplicant was interrupted during carrying material for sweeping somewhere - this material will never be swept, as sweeping tag is removed when material is picked up, not when it was stored. As a sub-issue: When ordered to sweep some building-up material (In my case solid co2 on Leafolin) the amount of material to be swept is decided when duplicant start running to it, not right before picking up. As a result - if you order to sweep 200kg of solid co2, the duplicant will pick up 200kg (the chunk is worth 202kg already) then 1900g then 700g and so on and so forth. This could take his whole working cycle. All the others chunks of co2 marked for sweeping that are lying further away may never be attended. Черная Дыра.sav
  6. Really? Hm, I have to check what is wrong with my base then. That is true, but by the time I have atmosuits - the base if filled with O2 already. So that will only lead to overpressure and eardrums pop. Beside that, dups only carry 200kg at a time. So it is either build a lot of canister emptiers, be very patient about it ( ) or crank it open at the spot (usually close to mechanised airlock next to the vacuum of space). The only viable solution that comes to my mind - canister emptiers inside the rockets. The only drawback - atmosuits aren't always close to rockets. Oil industry and magma processing plants are all deep below. So its a long run. Much easier to put canister fillers where they are needed. With a bit of exploits you can even make your rockets self sustainable . At least for oxygen (new option for polluted o2 production from polluted dirt makes all the difference) So I have no need for canisters with o2 really. Especially when the amount of canister builds up over time. One more point that troubles me is that you can't repair the atmosuit at 1% or any % for that matter. I really hate to see the docks filled with 33% weared down suits when i need to send a dup on a space mission with a atmosuit. You can easily set up recharging station, but it would take a small infrastructure to repair them "on the go".
  7. During colonizing of the 6th planetoid I noticed that drywalls constructed are very cold for the material that waas used to construct them. If I fill the chamber with a drywall with a gas and deconstruct 45°C drywall - the material goes back to 1000+ °C and overheats everything.   8. Just happened again on a brand new savefile. I am attaching the save. On this save the freeze happened for the firts time. 1. On the building and then on button at the bottom. 2. In this world I have Printing pod only. 3. Either too fast for my eyes to notice or not at all. (Just to note, I got the freeze, not the crash. Maybe it would crash eventually, but it takes too much time to wait for me to confirm this) 4. In this save its about 30 cycles in. Every printing once per 3 cycles, so I would say its 10th printing attempt. Previous 9 were fine. (This were two game sessions if that helps) 5. Nothing special really. Just like for previous savefile. I was running it on x3 speed a lot, but eventually paused before printing. This time game was paused. For previous savefile - it didn't ever matter.   9. Also, I am not sure should I open a new thread for this. But I was able to construct 45 degrees Drywall out of 1000 degrees Igneous rock on the 6th planetoid. Can be reproduced on the same savefile.
  10. Right. That was the other issue I remember that. After I force-covered volcanoes close to extremely cold stuff - the freeze gone. Glad to hear It was fixed. Great job! As for the Printing pod.. Unfortunately, I have no more info to provide on that one. All I can suggest - just fast forward it a couple of cycles and only check printing pod when it is ready. I just hope this is not hardware related or something. Will try it on a new save as well.
  11. If only duplicants bring the repaired suits back to docks. Have to check every single one of them repeatedly and do it "myself". Also I have no idea what to do with a gas canister containing 2.5 tons of oxygen which is now residing below atmosuits checkpont in my main "Hub" planetoid.
  12. I guess its kinda stimulation factor. Imagine you have a frozen biome with lots and lots of ice. You can rush and dig it up, but you will lose half of it. Or you can build your heavy equipment around the ice to heat it up and melt it, saving all the precious water. That makes you be more tactical about it. What do i need more? Ice right now or more water later? Am I struggling for space to build or do i need cooling?(Twice the mass of ice - twice the cooling capacity). I might be wrong, but I think this is intentional and for the same reasons that is making oil in this game to turn into petroleum 1 : 1 instead of 1 : 0.5 , if you heat it up enough instead of running it through Oil Refinery.
  13. Same happened to me as well. Not every cycle but about once in 4-5 cycles. My first thought was it somehow connected with screenshots the game is making for timelapse. If I save prior to opening printing pod list and got my game frozen - loading the save file lets me to interact with Printing pod without any issues up until the next 4-5 cycles (approximately. its really hard to catch the exact period).
