  1. Hey man you can actually work around this bug by keeping your fuel source in your character inventory and not a backpack or container. It will be fixed soon they've addressed it.
  2. Not to be that guy that asks if it's plugged in but did you make sure it wasn't dusk or night? The old lady goes to bed early. Was her shack visible?
  3. Yep. Just came here to post this. Huge issue especially since it allows refueling when it isn't acting up though I've had no luck with a miner hat. It does fuel nightmare items successfully but only sometimes. I'm fine with it only fueling once each time obviously that makes a ton of sense. Hopefully they atleast shed some light on the issue soon. Much love for this new update. The issue is that this is inconsistent for some users. To get nightmare fuel to work I have to wait a few minutes for I guess the world to load properly and for a miner hat I'm having no luck on my current save fueling it while coming out of pause. Been trying different button combos to no avail. I finally got a miner hat to fuel by using bulbs that were in a ice chest but I had to take them out first. Wondering if I play for a while if it snaps out of it. Odd! Probably last edit: I believe the issue is that things can no longer be fueled if the fuel is stored in containers or backpacks. When the fuel is in my actual inventory and not my krampus sack I don't seem to have an issue. Hope that helps Klei. This may not be the same for everyone obviously.
  4. Klei.....the way you guys implemented the pause function on console is literally perfect. I can not thank you enough for such an immense QOL. I was worried you couldn't pull it off but the R2 inventory management is all I could ever ask for. Let alone the pause button actually pausing. Glorious. Edit: the one issue I had is being addressed so no need to leave my complaint lying around. Could only fuel things if fuel source was in inventory. Containers and backpacks wouldn't respond.

  6. Will we see the pause and the multiple actions available during it make its way to console? And what are the plans on binding it to a controller? I figure we'll get a more limited one but I'd lose it if I can map and manage my inv paused on ps5. Thanks guys
  7. Ps4 is crash city. This game is amazing enough to not phase me when it crashes but dang is it often lol.

  9. Solution: Hounds seem to be deloaded in the ocean. I hugged the coast and saw a group loaded and started moving in the direction of the vargs. I'll make a boat and see if I can't either kill them or just follow them back home. I imagine it's a lot like the fire mechanic and the way screen activity vs offscreen activity works. That's a weird quirk since the wiki says distance will cause a Varg to spawn new hounds. They are on opposite sides of a standard size world. So to future players make sure to either teleport the varg before he gets a chance to spawn them or just be ready to go sailing. They b-line to the vargs but stop moving if you don't follow them. Issue: I created this varg farm about 10 or so game days ago. Only a single hound is spawned by a single Varg. I've made sure they are biting at me everytime. I've checked their teleport locations and the surrounding area for stuck hounds. I've left and revisted, logged out and in and rolledback a day to see if anything changed. I've went through a single moon event and a few more hounds spawned but nothing compared to a typical 3 varg spawnrate. When I kill the single hound a single hound is spawned. Edit: I've set one free to test it and it still will not summon hounds until it's death animation upon which a normal wave was summoned. Maybe the telelocator staff is glitching them out on PS4. Edit 2: I've also tried making the cage bigger and I've tried killing two so there's only one left. Nothing is working and they only spawn hounds on death. Edit 3: I've also had one chase me far away into a wide open area and still nothing until death.
  10. That only works if you've already built and mined the original sculptures. The game checks for those events before letting them drop. I did a lot of googling lol.
  11. Ps4 PSA: My 300+ day world is missing the Knight & Bishop marble sculptures. I couldn't find any suspicious marble aside from the rooks but I may have missed them. My entire map has been uncovered, I even checked lunar island just in case. Just making sure Klei and console players are aware before the player sinks a ton of time into the world. On the bright side I have in game years of experience to bring to my new world. Thanks for a game so great I'm willing to start a new world with a smile!
