I was just reading through the wormwood quotes and I saw the think for nightmare fuel. "Dark floaty man." There are no shadows that look like humans....

    What does wormwood know?!?!

to be fair, he also says "still beating" when inspecting the dragoon heart, but everyone else says it's dead.

Also the fuel has a face, so he could be refering to that

    Also also the shadow watcher

You might be aware of this as I type it, but these are ANCIENT. Wilton and Winnie before/during DS's ROG. Before shipwrecked, DST, Hamlet, all that stuff.

Doesn't rule out the fact they could be brought back for the new characters, but I have high doubt Wilton of all the scrapped are returning.

Wilton maybe, We're already getting Wartox, and he could be fun. Winnie is almost a definite no, considering she seems to be the precursor to Wigfrid

I was bored and decided to look at the dst files not sure how old these are, but I think these are some of the new paid characters for dst.

Both of those characters are unimplemented characters from the base game, Wilton is a skeleton who's silhouette used to be used for the XP cap, and has many assets in game.

Winnie is likly the pre-curser to Wigfrid, due to having almost identicle hair. It's definitly possible that they're bringing back old characters for the DLC, considering that we're already getting Wartox, or those are just there from when the file was split from the base game

Yes indeed, as of right now Purple Gems are available to all characters at minimum cost which can be used mostly for Teleportation with Telelocator.

Wormwood will have these Gems instead since the Telelocator sets fire to whatever is teleporated with a Lightning strike which Wormwood being a Plant can die from too easily.

wait, now that you mention it, Can Wormwood eat Ice to self-extinguish? because if so, Using an insulated pack/keeping some ice wrapped up in bundling wrap could be a legitimate strategy for him

  6. Slight issue with that though, Wormwood's gem isn't a green gem spesifically

In his portrait, his gem is a lighter shade of green, 'nor is it the right shape.

    Spoiler

    WormwoodGreen Gem

and in game, the shape is correct, but the color is still much brighter.

Now normally I would write this off as just being inconsistant, However, considering that, to my knowledge, this would be the only instance where the gem gains a different color based on the application (bringing sentience to Wormwood).

In addition, It doesn't really line up with the gem's element. as has been said before, the orange gem seems more closely related to teleportation than it does to Sloth, And as Such, I believe that the green gem's element is actually efficiency, as it allows you reduce crafting costs, making your resource gathering more efficient, and allows you to break down structures and items for the full value as opposed only half, making it more efficient than the hammer.

though if the element is "labor", that would explain how wormwood came to form. the game gave him the strength to perform the labor, or something like that.
