UPDATED - Studio Note & Rhymes with Play Streams Temporarily Canceled.   03/06/2020

UPDATE (3/19/20): Just a quick note regarding the team at Klei Entertainment. As noted previously, everybody at Klei Entertainment is working from home due to the Covid-19 outbreak. Many of us have been working especially hard to help maintain operations as we all move out of the office and into our homes and with everything being done online, extra time must be spent in organizing conversations and trying to maintain communication. As some of you may know, we have a very open office and we are almost always in contact with each other as we go about our days. Some of us work across multiple teams and that work has become a bit more challenging for everybody.   That being said, at this time the transition has not caused any major disruption in our operations, but it would be overly optimistic to expect that we won't have any delays at all. We're going to have to be especially mindful about this in the coming weeks and make sure we don't take on too much work so we can keep things running smoothly.  We will let you know as we see how these changes affect our timelines.  Thanks UPDATE (3/10/20):
The test yesterday went well. We got the whole office (mostly) to work from home without significant issue. As a result, Klei Staff that can work from home have been asked to do so until further notice.  This means that we will have to cancel the Rhymes with Play stream until we are all back in the office. This shouldn't affect anything else at least in the short term, but if things change I will update you all here.  Original Post: Hey everybody,  This Tuesday March 10th, 2020 the entire staff at Klei will be working remotely for 1 day in an effort to prepare the studio to work remotely for a little while if the need arises.  Klei is already set up pretty well to allow for working remotely, however we are going to have a one day "dry run" with the whole studio so that we can identify and avoid any issues or downtime that may arise should choose to implement a work from home policy due to COVID-19 outbreak concerns. Unfortunately this does mean that we will be canceling the “Rhymes with Play” Art stream this coming Tuesday, however unless the situation changes we expect everything at the studio to be back to normal Wednesday and we’ll continue our regular stream schedule Thursday March 12th. If the situation changes at all, we'll let you know. Thanks for your understanding.

  1. One of my dupes got trapped on top of a door during building, and now they're kinda bouncing up and down forever. (You can free them by deconstructing the tile above them, I just thought the save file might be helpful.) Inescapable Moonbase.sav
  2. Gas pressure in Kg instead of g?

I think that's a geode. Congratulations, you have a lot of carbon dioxide.
  3. When I connect the pipe on the attached save, the game freezes, and then closes without opening the crash reporter. The Cute Crater.sav
  4. The "ethanol distiller" doesn't store any polluted dirt internally, so it's constantly dropping tiny amounts of polluted dirt on the ground, every second. It should probably store and then drop in 10kg increments, like the water sieve, etc. Save attached in case you'd like to see an endless parade of dupes picking up tiny amounts of dirt. The Lucky Citadel.sav
  5. Desalinator output listed 2x

Really just displaying them in the order of "Input1, Output1, Input2, Output2" would probably resolve this.
  6. The pedestal only takes 1000g of an object, which is such a small amount that you can't actually see the full texture of debris objects on it. Look at the slime-based bedroom in Capture.PNG. You can't even see the slime spots! Larger debris objects have more complex textures; it would be much better with a larger amount of slime. Compare to the aesthetically far superior Capture2.PNG, where we can see that non-debris objects look great. (Seriously, I love the new decor objects to death, and I'm unironically proud of this bedroom. You guys are awesome and this game is amazing.)
  7. Is it possible that the gas only goes up?
  8. Yeah, it was fixed in a recent version! This bug can probably be closed now.
  9. Having a decor 26 plant in a room doesn't seem to satisfy the requirement of a Great Hall for "Decor item: 20+ Decor". Save attached (there's one obvious meal hall, it's below and to the left of the start.) I've only tested Wall Pots currently, but I believe flower pots had the same problem in previous versions. Sticky Dwelling.sav
  10. There’s also a bug where it won’t accept plants as the decor item even when they have decor 20+.
  11. Click to select a Farm Box Click the "Uproot" button Leave the farm box selected the entire time while you wait for a dupe to uproot the plant. Click the "Uproot" button again This seems to crash the game every time. (I know it sounds like a dumb thing to do, but tbh I think I had assumed it would be a Plant button once the plant was uproted.) Base.sav
  12. Unable to forge jet suit

It won't show up until you have some bottled petroleum (perhaps by mopping some, or putting a pitcher pump on a pool of petroleum). You'll also need some steel. They really need to find a way to make that clearer.
  13. Pacu not eating from feeder

I also couldn’t get hatches to eat from a feeder in this version.
  14. Carpet tiles require 2 reed fibers to build, but deconstructing a carpet tile gives back only 1 reed fiber. (The resulting reed fiber had some weird effects in terms of building mass, too: it says it's 1000g of reed fiber, when I built another carpet tile that used that fiber, it was 203kg instead of 202kg.)
  15. When you first build a pedestal, it has decor 5 range 1. When you place something on it, it instead has decor 10 range 4. But if you save and then load the game, it goes back to decor 5 range 1. Sticky Dwelling.sav
  16. The number can be decreasing for other reasons: if the germs are spreading out to nearby less-germy squares, or if there are slimelung germs being added to the water somehow. Slimelung and food poisoning fight each other, so you can disinfect a polluted water reservoir by sending a lot of germy Algae Distiller output into it until it's all slimelung, then waiting for the slimelung to die. Strange but true.
  17. The description of pedestals says that they'll double the decor value of anything with a positive decor, but all the things you can put on them are types of debris or seeds or such, that have 0 decor at best. (You may already be aware of this, I just wanted to make sure you knew.)
  18. I think the cargo bay is supposed to have a conveyor belt hooked up to it? I'm not sure about the bio bay, I haven't gotten to that. It could probably be clearer in the documentation.
  19. Door set to auto stuck open after load

Did you run an automation wire over it? I do that accidentally sometimes, particularly if I build the wire first and the door second.
  20. If you build a rocket that relies entirely on thruster power to travel, it won't launch, because it "needs a fuel tank". Even though it's perfectly possible to use a few Solid Fuel Thrusters to get enough distance to visit the nearby planets! I'm between steam and petroleum right now, and I wanted to use thrusters and a cargo bay to collect some niobium from the 10000km planets while my other dupes worked on building a petroleum pipe along the entire length of the map). I made a spaceship with a petroleum engine, a cargo bay, 2 solid fuel thrusters, 3 research modules, and a command module. The starmap says that it has 15873km range, and I got a dupe into it, but it refuses to launch. Save is attached; rocket is at the top left. Invisible Dystopia.sav
  21. I'm seeing this too. If you click on the door twice, to get the selection for the underlying solid element, THAT changes temperature. But the *building* doesn't.
  22. Game crashes on startup

@JanHThis bug affects me too, and I think Unity said they had fixed this in the most recent version (and in the LTS version). Do you know if the preview build has been updated to the patched version of Unity yet?
  23. Solid CO2 doesn't have the liquifiable or raw mineral tags (both of which would be appropriate), and thus can't be stored in storage compressors. I have a bunch of solid CO2 lying around my AETN and there's no way to use it as a heat buffer by putting it somewhere useful.
