During winter I've noticed the audio is muffled down a lot, almost dull. I had to turn my volume up just to hear much of anything. This includes the winter music and in-game sounds.
Also, the word "beefalo" is considered a bad word and being censored out in chat. I attempted to spell it different ways, but it kept filtering it out. I believe if I remember correctly, I got "beef a lo" to go through.

Get to winter season and listen to winter audio and music; Open the social wheel and type "beefalo"

A developer has marked this issue as fixed. This means that the issue has been addressed in the current development build and will likely be in the next update.
