i built a sign and i click x to type and the keyboard won't pop up so i can't write in signs

Steps to Reproduce
step 1: build a sign step 2: try to write in it step 3; realize you can't write in signs yet

Please bump this up the priority level, this is another example of a mechanic that punishes co-operative play (removes a method to share knowledge between players).
