The task progress bar will remain off, if the task was started while an overlay that hides it is active.
The bug isn't too old, but might've been around a year or two by now.
Steps to Reproduce
Have an overlay on as a dupe starts performing a task, then turn it off.
The expected behavior would be that the task bar appears, like it does if you open and close an overlay after the dupe starts the task, without an overlay on.
There are no comments to display.
