Dosctors won't operate the Apothecary

With the Quality of Life MK3 update, the Apothecary requires the Medicine Compounding (Care) skill. However, crafting at the Apothecary uses the Operate priority. Duplicants flip between a priority and Requires skill mastery.

Setting Operate to high priority for my "doctor" doesn't solve this as the "doctor" runs on various manual generators instead.

One possible solution is to have the Apothecary require the new Care priority, rather than the Operate priority (similar to how Research Station or Supercomputer work). I would also like to suggest that supply runs should be Care Supply.

 

 


Steps to Reproduce
Build an Apothecary. Give some the Care skill, let's call him "doctor". Increase priority for the "doctor" on Care. Observe that the "doctor" does not work the Apothecary very much even though the priority is set to maximum. Increase priority for the "doctor" on Operate. Observe that the "doctor" does other operate jobs before working the Apothecary.

Status: Fixed

This issue has been fixed in either a future version or updated in a previous version.
