CL#208689 - Matter still vanishing in the plumbing

Masterpintsman
  • Known Issue

Matter is still vanishing into the void.

Liquid test chambers after 5 cycles (started with 8*1000kg water):

void liquid.png

Gas test chambers after one cycle (started with 36*1000g oxygen):

void gas.png

TL;DR: The issue with disappearing matter inside plumbing is not yet fixed.

Test save file: running tests.sav

Updated title to reflect that it's still happening in the current version.

Steps to Reproduce
Load the save, turn on the switches, wait a moment.

....

Wouldn't be an issue with plumbing but rather every element consumer that can toggle themselves:

Gas Pump
Liquid Pump
Algae Terrarium
Air Scrubber
Air Deodorizer
Puft
Volgus (maybe, incomplete)

Cycle 5 you say? Are you sure you're on the latest update?20170228112038_1.jpg

Note the water drop on the pumps that had to stop and start repeatedly.

I hope they can fix this soon. Really kind of impossible to play if you can't use items due to fear of precious water loss.

So when the object pauses, or turns off/on, it's "forgetting" the amount of liquid that was inside? Is that your conjecture, Risu?

Just tested the air pumps for 5 cycles. The cell with 4 valves survived the best with 8683.3g of the 36000g remaining.
So basically if you want to keep your gases, add plumbing.

Not so much as forgetting but not being there to pick up the hand off.

I ment to refer to the whole stuff when it comes to pipes and vents. Sorry, not a native english speaker.

I said the results are after 5 cycles for water and one cycle for gas.
Tried to say to let them run for that long (timespan), not till the beginning of that cycle.

The version shown ontop of my screen ingame is the one I used in the topic title.

In case it makes a difference (which it should not): I ran it on maximum speed.
