Torch attacks will sometimes light things on fire

  • Version: PC/MAC/Linux Closed

When using the Torch to attack enemies or structures, the Torch will light them on fire if the Left-Mouse-Button was used to attack. This includes Ctrl+LMB, but does not extend to the Force Attack Key (F).

Steps to Reproduce
1. Install Beta branch for Shipwrecked 2. Equip a Torch 3. Attack enemy combatants or their homes using LMB and F keys

If it were supposed to happen, then why are there two different outcomes based on the button pressed? Your comment is irrelevant.

It's RNG. It's not set in stone how many swipes it takes before it sets on fire.

What watermelon  said. If there is any bug here, it's that things AREN'T igniting when hit with a torch.

I'll go test it out.

I'll edit this when I've gotten proof one way or the other.

Edit: I've used all mentioned inputs (clicks, f, ctrl+f)

All methods lit a treeguard on fire.
